Might be worth knowing that Marine Drive (the costal road) is closed between Marshside Road and Fairways this weekend for resurfacing.

Is that the roller coaster part of the road, better than funland that part.

Spencer Mulcahy 13-09-2012 09:11 PM

Is the road through croston still closed if anybody knows cheers.

sly 13-09-2012 09:22 PM

The road through croston is still closed until December.
The coast closure is from the old sand works until the near the pier.
At the plough roundabout it would be better to head down Preston new road toward lord street.

Cheers mate will have to find a new way there. Paul Smith told me a way but can't remember it now. Better get the dad map out.

Where you coming from Spencer?

As Si says if you are coming in from the north, when you get to the plough take 2nd exit off tthe roundabout signposted town centr.

Spencer Mulcahy 13-09-2012 10:25 PM

If it gets to last call time on Saturday and I am not there will someone tell them I will be there as I may be late due to having to drop her in doors off at work before I come over. Dropping her off an hour early as it is I should be there about 7.30 cheers.

Coming over from burnley I usually go through croston (scenic route). I will go to the end of the m65 and follow the signes or my satnav will take me that way. Cheers

DanW 13-09-2012 11:02 PM

You should be able to come from end of M65 / Leyland and go through Bretherton instead of Croston. Last time I went that way o think the signposts took me down Scheslig Way, then istead of following all the way I made a right turn at the Dunkirk Hall and took me the Bretherton route.

Spencer Mulcahy 14-09-2012 08:13 AM

Cheers bud.

Normal National Timetable. Booking in from 7:15am.
Usually 2 timed practices in heat form from 8.00am. followed by driver's briefing . Heat one on the line at 10.05am
Sorry a bit late but I have been down at the track all day

He's F1 standard in my opinion judging by his pace at the meeting in 4wd.

GRIFF55 15-09-2012 09:05 AM

I didn't think former f1's could run the f3,4,5's
