For the first time it will be run in 2 venues for 1club championship

The dates for the DMCC Summer 2013 season are as follows
14 apr,
28 apr,
12th may,
26th may,
23rd june,
21st july,
18th aug,
1st sept,
15th sept,
29th sept

10 rounds with 7 to count run of FTQ format 3 heats with 2 finals. When we race outdoors in Lucan the format will be round by round ( or can be decided on the day )

Which dates are Lucan / Naul?

Am guessing you will probably need to ask her! :)

Hi all..any word on the layout yet?..getting excited here.
just a thought about ramps and jumps.. I don't know how good we all are at making proper jumps..I know I'm shit at woodwork but I know a guy who isn't .
Martin Doghery from badmcc has made lots of amazing jumps for the nitro guys for the kings hall event..maybe worth a chat with him to ask if he could make something..that's if you guys run into any difficulties.. Just a thought :thumbsup:

I do have some experience with jumps and track building if you have a look at my half finished back-garden rc track in my albums it has alot of big and small jumps along the back sort of straight and I know someone aswell that may be able to help as he is a very good carpender.

Hi all,

Just want to let everyone know the DMCC are holding an open day on Sat May 11th.
We are opening the track to any electric car that might get around the track.
Posters have been put up in various locations around Dublin and the surrounding area. The idea being to let possible newcomers know about the club.
We will be running a few normal heats during the day depending on the number of members that show up.
So if anyone is interested in coming along you are very welcome.

Hi all,
Thanks to all members who came along today and made visitors to our track feel welcome.
We put on a good show and I think the DMCC looked really good today.

Best of luck in tomorrows round of the summer championships.

Hopefully we get a few new members from it. Any plans to have a club day in Lucan if the weather stays like this? Is Dave still cutting the grass there?

if the weather stays like this we wont get to Lucan again unless you bring a boat!!!!!

I had a look in Lucan today. RC Hovercrafts is what we need there.
