I was getting abit nervous! I have booked into Chadderton for a 2WD but don't have one to drive haha!

To all of you who have (and those who will) receive a new gearbox here are a few recommendation:

- It will require a bit of running in before it frees up completely
- During the running in process, do not tighten the motor plate too much. I recommend just nipping it and using threadlock to prevent the screws from coming loose

Hey guys, new kid on the block! :thumbsup:I bought MCS kit #27 from Fabs' hands yesterday.
I almost built it, just waiting for alloy parts to come from the anodiser. Parts are really nice, smooth alloy and crazy thick rear tower:woot:. The gears are a little tight on the new gearbox but everything should be okay after a run-in and some TLC.
I will post pics soon. Can't wait to try it!:wub

Got my new gearbox today, Been re-building the car tonight.
i must say the new gearbox is fantastic. Its so smooth it unreal!

I'm all giddy now to get it back on the track!

well, in short:

Le-Sam had not heared from these guys in a long time, but he received a message recently, telling they actually have too much work at the moment and can only produce the Gearboxes for november 15th.

Le-Sam will see if he can find another contracter (at a reasonable price) and if not, will have to wait for nov, 15th.

Also, Le-Sam assures he is still focussed on this project and will keep to try and get those gearboxes as good, fast and cheap as possible :)
