Astro medium grip

DarkHawk 16-05-2015 11:11 AM

7k front 5k rear
dampers 350 front blue spring 300 rear yellow spring
if that feels too stiff try 300 front and 250 rear plus yellow all round

guinness 16-05-2015 12:49 PM

What brand Of shock oil are u talking about ? Thanx

just to wet the appetite I have a custom made carbon fibre chassis made from 2.5 mm carbon fibre plate that I am testing, should make this car even better

One of the chaps at our club has a carbon fibre chassis TRF503 and double thickness top chassis parts and it handles brilliantly.

Fibrelyte have been making the carbon TRF503 chassis for a little while now, if you need any carbon TRF503 parts for it just ask them, they do them all and in different thickness's if you want them.

Been using a carbon chassis as well on my TRF503 for a few months as well and it's is definitely more predictable now vice the alloy chassis..:)

I have a updated 511 and the carbon chassis on the 503 makes a already good car great! I have been able to be more aggressive with the car and it performs really well now on high grip surfaces:woot:

I have a base one that you can work with until I have Ar0 at PetitRC up load a newer one I have ;)

The set up I use is a modified version of this one.. just went up half a weight on oil front and rear along with the rear diff oil going to 5000 and a yellow rear spring:)

is that with the alloy std chassis or the carbon fibre?

SiR_Dave 25-06-2015 07:02 PM

Carbon Chassis... the modified set up has a lot of steering ..also Use either Clay Chainlinks or Proline electrons ... if you want to cut back on a little bit of steering uses a AKA pinstripe up front:)
