Anybody knows the sizes of the ball bearings included in the #42283 Double Cardan Joint Shaft Front?
Anybody knows if exist a hardest version of the original #51472 diff joint?

Best regards

SiR_Dave 03-02-2015 08:09 PM

The bearing size is 5x10x3..
Now as for the diff joints you can use some sets from the 417 they seem to hold up pretty well... But you will need to buy two sets to make one complete set due to the different length on them... Don't have the part # off hand but I can post it up later ;)

I'm using it. No big differences but it is true that minimizes rotation vibration and car runs smoother. I have the rear ones but I didn't tried yet.

If your interested PM me

xfactor 07-05-2015 07:36 PM

Guys I have a 503 on the way.

Just want to know, are the front hexs the same as the 501, 502 and 511.

Also can you use rear pin wheels as I have a few new tamiya rear wheels. By not fitting the hex and using a spacer with a wheel pin.

Cheers all.

front hexs are exactly the same and the rear wheels are pin drives but you get the hex adaptors in the kit:)

Fantastic.

Cheers Pugs.

Do you also know if the 511 carbon lock down kit fits the 503.

Thanks again.

no probs mate, hth, it should but you might need to use the posts from the 511, i am sure they are a slightly larger diameter on the 503.....
