bri 07-04-2008 02:44 PM

well i think ur all nuts... lol.

there is much more 2 cum regardin track changes, roger, stu, n myself hav lots of ideas and sketches on paper... so watch this space!

it will b a case of 1 feature at a time as its only myself n stu doin the work at the moment, any offers of help wud b appreciated...

the next change will be ......
.................................................. .................................................. .. lol im not tellin u yet! u'l all hav 2 keep cumin down n racin 2 find out!!!!!!!!!!!

rallymadryan 07-04-2008 03:01 PM

i'll do that

super__dan 07-04-2008 03:04 PM

Please don't change it too much, it's not really broken at the moment so don't fix it too much!

rallymadryan 07-04-2008 03:08 PM

true , a few changes would be good though , im sure they wont change it if it doesn't need 2 be :)

Lee 07-04-2008 03:09 PM

I wouldnt go too far with the changes either, the last thing we want is an obstacle course:thumbsup:

bri 07-04-2008 05:40 PM

it wont become an obsticle course lee, deffo not..... i remember bury club 20 yrs ago wen it had 60+ drivers at a club meet n thats wot we want bac!

dan we wont go mad but just gonna tweak it here n there 4 now, n get rid of a few imperfections m8 that alot of people winge about!

anyway roger wont let us go 2 mad.... i wanted 2 get a digger in n start again with sumthin proper interestin but the race controller said 'no' n we had 2 bow down lol...

Chrislong 07-04-2008 06:12 PM

Bri, it just needs rolling flat and features made equal accross the width, then pressure washer'd to get the moss off. The track is otherwise great.

The only part I can criticize is the new double / \ , it can be a mare to get over in one with 2wd.

When can we race on Friday nights there?

bri 08-04-2008 12:58 AM

i kno exactly wot u r sayin m8, n it is in hand buddy!

as 4 the friday nites i will find out n let u kno m8, i dont think i will b there much on a friday nite tho... mayb once a month as i dont want 2 giv up my beer if u kno wot i mean lol.... i'l deffo get bac 2 u tho!

rallymadryan 08-04-2008 03:33 PM

i got over the new double fine with my b4

friday nites would be awesome :woot:

Lee 08-04-2008 03:36 PM

Has the big double on the left of the track been re-profiled, it seemed flatter on the second bit, i may be wrong though:)

MikePimlott 08-04-2008 04:12 PM

Yes Lee, It was made into more of table top rather than a double and the up ramp was reshaped more square.

Richard Lowe 08-04-2008 04:14 PM

Is there still the usual option on to the straight round the banking? That is/was (!) one of my favourite parts of the track :)

Bri, please stop the text speak if possible, it's painful to read

Lee 08-04-2008 04:18 PM

yeh rich u cn use it:lol::thumbsup:

MikePimlott 08-04-2008 04:20 PM

Yes the bank corner leading onto the straight is untouched.

Argh!!!

jimmy 08-04-2008 04:24 PM

I wouldn't mind a banked corner on that near left corner - that's so hard to see and judge properly from the stand.

bri 08-04-2008 11:20 PM

i do appologise richard.... i do so hope that this style is far easier for you to comprehend? lol

only messing matey, its just habit!

just give me a shout on anything you are confused on and i will try and put it right for you!

jimmy you arent far off what stu and myself wanted to do, initail plan was a full banked bend from end of straight to where the cobbled bend finishes.... but roger wouldnt let me have a digger lol

MikePimlott 08-04-2008 11:32 PM

Most of you dont know Bri is sponsered by JCB and rather than drive a buggy round he wants to RIP the track up.

To be honest all the track changes are minor and are all to make the track raceable. Its going to be ace when we've finished.

super__dan 09-04-2008 06:22 AM

NOOOOOOOO, leave the end of the straight alone, it's fine :(

ben 09-04-2008 06:42 AM

There's always one:lol:. I personally think that a banked corner at the end of the straight-away would be good. Because i cant really see the end of the straight very well because of the conrete track marker just before the corner. :(

Edited post from Ben above

The end of the straight is perfect, requires a skill to do it. The sloped apex is great too, means the car is flipped rather than broken on a solid object. Id just roll the approach to it so its all smooth and hey-presto... perfection.

bri 10-04-2008 12:10 AM

mike u sod..... i'l lose that sponsorship with jcb now.
it was a secret deal, told u not 2 let it out the bag! oh bugger........

Pete@BMM 13-04-2008 08:23 PM

Hey guys - glad to see things are looking up.
Any chance of some leaflets to hand out in the shop - its mad that you are the closest club yet we have no info in store, posters, leaflet etc.

We have info for the local smelly clubs NNRC and PRCC both of which are very un local compared to you guys.

Pete
