It's been a little while since ive done any work on the track and even longer since i updated you.

So first of all, due to the results of this poll (and my own personal preference) im changing the layout before i get to far in.

So the pictures im about to post may look like a step back, but i personally think there a big BIG step forward.

I reacon im still bang on time to my personal dates i set and hopefully i can get a few people down in a few weeks to give it a proper test, also im rebuilding the crossover jumps to have a kicker at the end so there will be some good 'hang time'

Need a couple of drivers to come down this afternoon 2-4 pm to help to test the track, if its to short notice will try to arrange another for monday.

What i need:

*1/10th elec cars (buggy/truck/sc)
*people willing to help adjust track where needed

This is purly so i can have a few more drivers to help test to see where needs smoothing out and where dosnt. Pm me or contact me on

Right, spent from 11am till 3.30pm down at the track and made some serious progress, so much so im ready to have a few drivers down for a 'test/ironing out the bumps day'

Spent the time, on;
  1. Building 3 landing ramps
  2. Extending the First corner so its wider for a better run into 1st jump
  3. Sorted out the transition from wall ride to start straight
  4. Run the whacker plate over the whole track
  5. Damped the track down ready for testing

What i still have to do;
  1. Build the final jump
  2. Tidy the general area
  3. Get some serious testing done

Then i should be near enough there :)

Youtube Vid (still cant figure out how to embed the video properly)

Had a few cars going round the track last night as a test bed.

Can report that all the jumps work fine and the rostrum didnt collapse :)

Had a truggy, 2 x 1/10ths, 1/16th and 2x short course cars all going round, it has highlighted a few issues but none which cant be sorted easily.

the first cross over after the straight may be an issue as there isn't much run up to clear the track? May not be such an issue with the smaller scale cars as they pick up a bit quicker than short course trucks!

My 4wd pick up is better than my sx3, ok i have a 5.5T in it, but SC are great at jumps............ well, mine is awsome. always get more air even thou its heavier, than the buggies.:thumbsup:

Just got home from working on the track.

Not to much of a massive update but ive made a home made sieve which is very effective but time consuming way of removing all the big stone :)

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...w/c89edf23.jpg

Then spread it on a bad section of the track and compacted and watered down, sent round my buggy in total 3 parks. It didnt rut up to bad considering i hadn't let it dry properly so im really happy with it. More progress soon!
