Weather

Weather reports are a mixed bag or tomorow, some giving no rain and a cloudy day with others saying scattered showers, either way should be a good days racing;)
If anybody does decide to not come if its raining in the morning please text me on 07813195772 so we know:thumbsup:

Belsten 27-08-2011 04:59 PM

Can't agree more with what's been said, it was a brilliant day. Hard work with it being our club running the meeting, but definitely work it, thanks to those that did the major prep work yesterday.

As for car cleaning, mine's just been in the shower and Is now nice and clean. Just got to strip it tomorrow now and oil the bearings. HATE that job!

Well today sucked!! rain killed it for me , didn't enjoy any of it after the big down pour.

Track was good and made for good qualifying , but i think the finals where a wasted, Nothing against club,I know we all wish we could control the weather.

Thanks to all at cobra for the hard they put in with the track, and making it 3d but keep with an old school grass feel.

well done to Dave on the 2nd place.

axeman 28-08-2011 08:58 PM

Best WRCA round this year!!!!:D:D

The rain made it awsome!!!! I loved it!!! every bit of it!!!

Especially when I flew past reg and spencer one bend before the line!!

I AM A RACING GOD!!!!

Loved it!!!!

Ledbury in the morning now !!! Hardcore

DCM 28-08-2011 09:00 PM

Is it bedtime yet.....??

Cracking day, rain really made it challenging, but Round by Round is the saver!!!

Thanks to all for turning up and not going home when we had a little light shower... or two...

ant west 71 28-08-2011 10:06 PM

a big thank you to cobra, and the gang, what a AWESOME day, loved the rain and my driving got better as the day got wetter:thumbsup:.

Jamie.T 29-08-2011 08:33 AM

Had an awesome day at COBRA yesterday, no doubt the best track this year. I loved the flow of the track and the jumps were really good and well thought out.

My rake was also awesome, it deserves a medal in itself. ha ha

So, whens the next grass track then, im sure we could squeeze one more in this year, that grass has plenty of life left in it??

DCM 29-08-2011 09:31 AM

Maybe we could do a last hoorah on there.... although maybe not as big?

leeboy44 29-08-2011 10:31 AM

Bigger the better Steve, that track was great. I think you ships start a poll on here for options?

ant west 71 29-08-2011 11:14 AM

youve got to do a last hoorah, wot great fun yesterday was. but i do think that the rain added to the fun. hoping now that swans will run and that is weather changing racing, wot fun, lol.

Dyna 29-08-2011 11:57 AM

Was a good day to be sure :)

Rain made it.... interesting.... to say the least... especially on the wooden doubles, where in the final I got trapped in the middle of one and couldnt get any grip to drive out

Ground didnt get too muddy really either when you saw how much rain came down at the end. Great track, and all all credit to COBRA and all involved

Got to mention Adams bad luck again after his wheel came off at Caldicot.... he didnt even manage to start his 2wd 'A' final this time after qualifing 2nd... I reckon its the Cougar, Adam - it dosent seem to like you... :bored:
