Also last year some may remember we had some issues with power, we only have I think 3 sockets for the WHOLE HALL. We're not setup to provide power to everyone like Worksop. Therefore I think it sensible and fair to say power is first come first serve and there may be a point where we have to say enough is enough with extension leads. DO NOT ASSUME THERE IS MAINS POWER FOR ALL.

Northy 13-02-2008 01:53 PM

You can run the same set-up with AE shocks though, Losi pistons and springs will fit.

DaveG28 14-02-2008 12:00 AM

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing if I'm in!?

Oscar 14-02-2008 10:52 AM

Ok just to update you all. Firstly I do not have internet access every day just at the moment, so please be patient waiting for replies;)

The entries recieved so far i think will take us up to the 120 capacity or very close, however I'm almost sure everyone who has entered so far will be OK.

We have had some technical issues with getting the entries to our club secretary, this should now be resolved hopefully.
Everyone will be booked into the race programme either this evening or in the morning. Once complete, an entries list can be created, and i will upload this to the Batley Club website. At the worst case scenario this will be Saturday Evening, but I will try to have this online Friday if possible.

Good luck to all entrants:D

jimmy 14-02-2008 10:56 AM

lemme know if you need any help John

when it stated"doors open at 7.30 racing 8.00"
does this actualy mean we will be racing at 8.00 am?
as im coming from chester which is about 1 1/2 hrs away(aa maps) so i will be up at 5.30am:wtf:.
just need to know as ive got to collect a mate who's racing as well and he's not the best at getting up.

jimmy 15-02-2008 02:01 PM

I would imagine practicing by that time to be honest, but what do I know:drool:

It probably means practise starts at 8am.

Racing will not start until after practise and a drivers briefing.

I had to get up at 4.30am last weekend for a regional!

You should know.........Blown up any power supplies lately :woot:

b4rs 15-02-2008 02:31 PM

cant we just use extensions and splitters to at least giv half the hall eleccy?

Cockerill 15-02-2008 03:01 PM

Its alright saying that but when everyone turns up expecting to use power and the hall can't handle everyone we're all buggered.

I would advise bringing a 12v in leakproof container if you have one you can use.

Generators , with leads through top doors and then taped shut when we are all in ????

Cockerill 15-02-2008 04:52 PM

Don't see why not Lindsay, so long as the club/sports centre don't mind.

_sleigh_ 15-02-2008 04:55 PM

Would they be safe left unattended? if so, I might be tempted to bring mine.

Northy 15-02-2008 04:57 PM

Not sure i'd leave mine outside with the chav's, those doors have to remain closed once we've started racing.....

_sleigh_ 15-02-2008 05:02 PM

My thoughts exactly...

tony12795 15-02-2008 05:47 PM

X6 - Axles

Has anyone got any spear BK Axles for an X6 ?

I can purchase them on the day or just borrow them for the super cup ?

Col 15-02-2008 10:32 PM

Some people seem to be getting up incredibly early considering no-one know if they'll be racing yet!

As per Johns above message, it would appear that everyone who had booked in so far (that's about one day ago) has a place in the race.

I've spoken to John tonight and he has told me he will compile a complete race entry list tomorrow morning.
I would imagine that anyone who completed the entry form prior to the middle of this week would pretty much be garunteed entry unless there is a huuuuuuge backlog of entry forms just waiting to land in Johns inbox tomorrow morning :woot:
Looking forward to this event, the supercup's always a goodun.

Col 16-02-2008 08:27 AM

That's good news, Vic

quincey 16-02-2008 10:38 AM

ive just noticed that the supercup is running to brca rules,i run ib4200 and east power cells that are not on the legal list,my ib's have got 4200 written in silver on white and the east powers have got red things instead of black on the end of the cells, would this stop me from running?

Lee 16-02-2008 10:42 AM

Quincey,

Im sure you will be fine, i cant see scrutineering being that thorough, as long as your not running lipo im sure people will be sensible:)

DaveG28 16-02-2008 11:53 AM

Are you going up then Ade? If so I'll bring up those powerpoles for you!

quincey 16-02-2008 12:23 PM
