Them things only happen if you dont look after your car most people look after there cars so they have no such problems. And i didnt see any s4's in the top 4

They go when you are driving fast and everything is under strain, and usually on your best run of the day about 4 1/2 minutes in, LOL. |

Matt Dodd took TQ with the S4 btw. Adam cruised the final, tom Cockerill was all over him but couldn't keep his car on 4 wheels. |
sssshhhh jimmy sssshhhhh
Where's my pictures???? A |
I thought Adam took TQ?
Somehow I managed to finish 4th in the A with my trusty RB5 (which is now for sale if anyone is interested):p The track was a bit simple but the little carpetted bit onto the straight was slightly tricky to get right. Stil don't know why they didn't just set out a normal track and just take the jumps in and out for the buggies...might have been a bit more technical. but hey, its done now. the 4wd A was good to watch, Tom deffo ad the legs on Skelding but didn't quite have the handling or the luck. Camera's. yeah, I've had that problem before with them saying it causes interference. It never has though. |

May be Ash but one did win 2 of the 3 rounds it finished due to speedo problems! :( |

I didnt see any belts or gears go today! It was quite a hard day on cars though, Hey Chris ;)
|
Yea I didn't see any belts or gears go either. I did see quite a few other pices brake tho :rolleyes: Well I learnt yesterday how far i have to push the car to be up with the top guy's. I am happy i can run with them i just need to cut the silly mistakes out now and also some new batteries as mine are about 4 seasons old.

Sorry! haha
The print out I have said matt dodd took two wins and you took two wins - giving you even points and he was on top. I was too busy racing and then marshalling your race to pay enough attention obviously :D |

I need a slipper! I'm used to driving with a loose slipper to calm me down, with with a 14x2 in there it was a bit eager to lift those wheels :wtf:
I enjoyed it tho. And well done to Vicky on her first win! |

Hi Guys
I would like to thank every body who supported the event this past weekend. I really enjoyed my first attempt at 2wd and will no doubt be back for more (glutton for punishment) It was also nice meeting the names I read about and I will try and get to some more Off Road events in the future. The race report is now posted on Mirage's website and can be found at http://www.mirageracing.com/news/article/789 Thanks to Jimmy for the photos Ben |
Aaawwwhhh wich i could have gone now :(

|
:o:o4.5:o:o in 2wd thats insane.
|
my 14 double was fast enough for me :wtf:
|
Nice reports there jimmy and ben.
The photo of the top 3 4wd turned out well jimmy, despite having only about 10 seconds to run onto the track, take the photo, then run off the track before the touring cars came round!! Nice to see that it isn't just me that gets sligthly blurred shots in that place.;) |
Had a great day on Sunday (despite setting off at daft o'clock in the morning), track was quite short which made the racing seem very frantic, but excellent to watch. Nice to meet Ben Cosgrove, Bondy & a few others (whose names escape me), great atmosphere & venue, well organised & had a really enjoyable day. Hope to do next year as well.
Most impressed with Tom Yardy trying to wheelie under the start/finish bridge & not quite getting it right :wtf: Great pics & reports as always. Barry |
