Hi there,

I was wondering if there's going to be shops @ the Neo?? If so which one's??

Its gettin' close now:thumbsup:

JIm:woot:

showtime 03-03-2008 08:19 PM

i'll ask Phil now for you Jim ;)

if anybody wants to take their shop then i advise you to email phil ASAP
[email protected]

jimarea51 03-03-2008 08:24 PM

Thanks for that Adam....

Jim:p

showtime 03-03-2008 08:48 PM

apparently there will be Bish Bash Tony Bolwell (BolwextricRC supplies) & First Models (Ian Hancock)
these are the 2 that have confirmed & said they'd definitely be taking shops so far:)
although i dare say there will be various deals done out of the back of vans all weekend if you know who to ask ;)

dave g 03-03-2008 08:57 PM

i dare say we will be taking some stock down from ballys jim too, depends if he wants us to :)

dave g 17-03-2008 09:15 PM

i really wished i had booked in for this now instead of just pitting for bruce...and jim...and graham..

Northy 17-03-2008 09:38 PM

.....and Tom.....and Stu....... :thumbsup::thumbsup:

G

dave g 17-03-2008 09:46 PM

i will have a "kfc" donations box on the pit table..£1 per person per day pitting fees :)

showtime 17-03-2008 09:57 PM

take all your gear up wih you anyway Dave as there's always a chance somebody won't turn up so you could get a last minute drive :)

see me there & i'll let Phil know there is a reserve on standby

to make things easier on the day if a place comes up it would be easier all round if all your details were already in the computer. if it will still let you it might be worth entering them all on the racecontrol site so Rob Nelson has them in advance or if thats been closed off for this meeting which i suspect it might then have everything all written on a piece of paper ready to go ;)

then if a place comes up the easier it is to put you in, the more chance you have of getting in

dave g 19-03-2008 05:18 PM

anyone have a hongnor front 16mm big bore shock body they can take to neo?

just seen a nice big dent in mine after some plod hit me head on on sunday :(

dave

Northy 19-03-2008 07:38 PM

I have grown a beard for the Neo, but I think Julie is going to make me shave it off

G

Lee 19-03-2008 07:45 PM

Tell her you will only shave it off if you win the NEO:lol:

dave g 19-03-2008 07:53 PM

why, does it chaffe her legs G?:)

Stu 19-03-2008 08:02 PM

No Dave, cos it makes him look like a nobbO

Lee 19-03-2008 08:07 PM

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Stu 19-03-2008 08:27 PM

It has to be said though, I've just had a hair cut - now I look like a 'nobbO' also.

showtime 19-03-2008 08:35 PM

i'm just gonna pack some stuff & maybe even think about getting my car ready! oh and shave my balls in case anyone needs tea-bagging :woot:

Stu 19-03-2008 08:50 PM

Nice, thanks for that.

I was supposed to be driving down tomorrow during the day, but the wife’s great-aunt has just had the misfortune of becoming dead, so it's funeral duties tomorrow for me. Not gonna get there till late now -

Northy 19-03-2008 09:10 PM

glypo 19-03-2008 09:33 PM

Nope. Bring a pit towel or matt to cover the table though :)

Chris Doughty 19-03-2008 10:40 PM

Lee Martin used a beard at the Cactus, did him proud in 4WD...

bigred5765 19-03-2008 10:45 PM

showtime 19-03-2008 11:03 PM

i only clipped something with my toes while walking at work & it turned my foot right out :wtf:
you know how it is once the ligaments are gone Ollie

dave g 20-03-2008 12:38 AM

if its the knee ligament then you have to rest it if its stretched/torn it,i did mine a few yrs ago and the doc said to keep any weight off it for a week, tbh i could walk on it after about 4 days but it hurt like hell, felt like someone had stabbed me in the knee

jimmy 20-03-2008 12:41 AM

this talk is making me feel somewhat sickened.

if it helps, my back is knackered and I'll be in agony all weekend no doubt (at least, I will after the first 5 mins laying on the floor taking photos)

showtime 20-03-2008 12:56 AM

bsically my knees are knackered Dave, i'm sort of ok if i'm really careful but its silly little knocks like this that keep hurting me
was told about 12 years ago i needed replacements but the NHS dont want to know & i can't afford private!
i suppose 25 years of paying tax & national insurance along with a white face excludes me from any free treatment i thought i might be entitled to?

i just gotta be careful, they let me know what i can & can't do!

dave g 20-03-2008 08:59 AM

just take it easy then..use a stick if you have one or borrow one to take the weight off the knee...old man :)

cant say anything as my backs knackered period,i rattle like a tincan with all the tablets i take for spondylosis in my back and neck but life goes on :)

dave

bondy 20-03-2008 09:23 AM

Cold

It was b***** Cold last year and now they say we might get snow this weekend.

I would suggest everyone take plenty of warm cloths jumpers coats socks boots etc etc ! Even with all my insulation I was freezing last time !

Only coming to watch Monday this time ! Enjoy!

dave g 20-03-2008 11:24 AM

all packed up,plenty of food and clothes, car and all gear ready, just hope i get in now :)

cant wait..should be good fun.

dave

anyone know if there will be wireless available for laptop..or is there a way to get the timing/race results beamed live to my laptop? be handy for seeing what heats are on etc

jimmy 20-03-2008 11:27 AM

results - no problem. but there isn't free wifi (only results wifi). The college does have wifi but it will be locked up tight because they are MEAN

dave g 20-03-2008 11:31 AM
