Thanks again for your positive comments again the next meeting will be 7th June Rnd 4 Spring championship i should be running my new cat by then with ivor's help:thumbsup:.The numbers will no doubt be down with the mid east regional on at broxtowe on the same day,again apologies for the unavoidable clash luckly it does not seem to affect the great numbers the regional is attracting. We had 19 buggies racing yesterday 12 2WD & 7 4WD with 12 Tourers thanks again for the turnout there should soon be footage on youtube we will let you know when its on.

Leverton Raceway Meeting Cancelled
 

Hi we have had to cancel todays meeting becuse of the lightning, is not a good idea to have arials up in this, the track is all weather so the rain does'nt matter.

Ok the next meeting for Leverton is Sunday 14th June the weather looks good:thumbsup: the last round is Nul & Void due to the weather conditions so the championship will be now 3 from 5. Hope to see you all there would be nice to get a good crowd of both touring cars and buggies.

3PM should be wall to wall sunshine with wind speed 7mph and westerly tempreature around 20c 68f my radar at tne momment does not go past 3pm but by then you should have all booked in and i have your money so don,t care much.:lol: No really should be a great day, good weather,good racing and hopfully no fighting:lol::lol::lol:see you all tommorow.

Thanks again lads for yet another good turnout 21 buggies 13 touring and thanks also to a couple of lads who came from up north somewhre batley i think or around that area. Ok a couple of things we are trying to do a all dayer for buggies only so then we can cover most of the tarmac track the problem is we need to do a date where there are no nationals and no regionals we will be keeping you posted on possible dates. We have also been looking at changing the track slightly to lessen the amount of tarmac on the straight this should be done for the next meeting weather and work permitting the next meeting is on the 5th July last round of the spring championship see you all at Broxtowe 28th June looking foward to that.

Yes graham we do not stand still we had a few chats with drivers we have taken it on board, and we have a few ideas to minimise the tarmac on the track so hopfeully by the next meeting these changes will be in use hope to see you down there soon. We also plan to have a all day meeting end of september beginning of octoer dates pemitting ie no clashes with regionals or nationals.

The ideas you have got planned seem very good Darran and it sounds like they will work very well ... it will be a less expensive championship with less tarmac :lol:
(well dad pays for most of my stuff :p)

Ok we have made some alterations to the track today we have covered a new straight so taking away some of the tarmac on the main straight Ivor took some pictures should be on soon.

NEXT MEETING LEVERTON RACEWAY
 

The next meeting at Leverton is 5th July FINAL RND of the Spring Championship on a slightly revised track cutting out a bit more tarmac.
In nearly all of the classes it is still quite close for the top spot, also now it is only best 3 from 5 because of a cancellation of one of the rounds due to weather conditions and we are going to try and get started at 3pm for the first time ever:woot: so please try and get there early for booking in.
