Peakey 17-05-2015 10:40 PM

That's what I like to see man organisation  can't beat a turbo as a shelf display too

fathead 17-05-2015 11:09 PM

I'm actually a little bit more organised now, have so many project RC cars I bought a bunch of plastic boxes to put them all in, in saying that though if I took the same picture now it would look pretty much the same, well apart from the auto gearbox out of the E46 being in bits on the bench getting rebuilt that is.

Yes that turbo has been waiting a long time to be installed into my Volvo 760turbo, along with the 16V head.......thats 2 or 3 projects away now though, first the E46, then my GTi6 then the Volvo........

Retro RC 18-05-2015 02:18 AM

Thats my XXX-CR, which is now waiting in a box in pieces for a mid motor conversion since I dragged the CAT out, it's actually a photo from beginning of the year I think when I was working on the pro10 prototype, which I am starting to get the itch to work on again! :woot:

fathead 18-08-2015 08:47 AM

Prompted by Peakey I've been doing some thinking and measuring on diffs.

Planning to do a Wasp style gear transmission conversion and make new front and rear pulleys in 3HTD tooth profile, which is the 3mm pitch belts used today.
Could even double side the gear conversion to mimic the standard double rear belts for fun.

Retro RC 18-08-2015 09:08 AM

I'll take a set for my procat and bosscat after my cougar chassis😜

fathead 18-08-2015 09:10 AM

fathead 14-04-2016 10:25 AM

Back into it a bit tonight, I had forgotten I had drawn up these new taller front 'towers' a while ago, so I cut a test one out tonight, just the blank needs the hinge pin and shock holes in it still
