This is a nice one of the front end
|
Looks like it may be similar chassis layout as a Schumacher K1 if you look through Carson's front window.
|
Well, new car looks awesome. I've lots of detailed photographs, but not sure if I can release them? I'll see if Red RC release their own later, tomorrow, or Sunday. I'll ask Shin tomorrow if they can be published.
It looks pretty much complete, but still a few parts that don't quite look "kit". Quite a few parts shared with YZ2, rear end almost. Gear casing mounts and wishbone mounts are the similar. Both gearboxes look to be similar to a 3 gear yz2 setup. Recon they both share the 2wd diffs, but I could be wrong in that guess. It won't disappoint. Chassis looks ace. My Bmax 4iii is very hard work on the track. Front tyres 4wd minipins are the main issue I think. It's super difficult. Lee's car looks very good, but went slower in last round of practice. They are still experimenting with the setup. |
If they let you take pictures, you are allowed to share. If it was such a secret they even wouldn't race it. Would love to see some pics
|
"They" didn't, I photographed whist team were marshalling. just so i could look in detail.
People are viewing the car, and no one will be disappointed with it. |
Then share :P. Like I said, if they don't wait pictures to be taken, they hide the cars. It's the same as they did with the B-Max4 III 2 years back. Wouldn't surprise me if there will be a "chassis focus" at RedRC.
Just "share" some pics on Oople, personally, I (and some others here) are interested in how the car just looks. p.s. If you are "scared" to share, doesn't matter. Pictures will pop up soon anyway. I'm just curious :p |
I'm not scared, its about respect.
You'll see it when it's out. Red rc may chassis focus, after that, I may publish. |
Damn, have to wait till Sunday then :D
I understand, don't worry. ;):D |
Ask Shin Neal, if he is happy then all is well. If not off the shell pics certainly don't look to be far off for the public.
I like the sound of the parts compatibility with the YZ2 and the drivetrain will certainly be interesting to see. |
Neal is making the right decision. They haven't even shared pictures under the shell with some of us team guys let alone public. They was meant to be racing last Tuesday at maritime but shin put the anchors on that due to not wanting to much info revealed.
As Neil said its imminent that there's gonna be some form of chassis focus |
I'm sure there are a few unfinished pieces in it, and it's still in testing. it won't disappoint, looks ace.

I think it's one of those valuable things of the EOS: the open atmosphere and the easy access to walk towards a world class driver (or team) and ask for some setup advice, or in this case, have the excitement of seeing latest developments first hand. If you'd share the pictures without permission you could very well ruin that fun for future visitors of the EOS. If you want to see the car now so badly, why don't you just drive to Nürburgring in Germany? So imo, thanks Neil :) |
Applaud your discretion Neal, when Yokomo want us to see it, we will, rude to betray that by just posting pictures without consent, its a matter of respect, now come on Shin, lets have a butchers lol!

Good on you neal, stick to your guns.
If yokomo want to release pics that is upto them, but with showing this huge respect to Shin and the team, is highly applaud able. |
I absolutely won't be posting pictures of the development car(s). Cheers for support.
I did drive to Nurburgring for the event and its so far been a great weekend, despite my less than fantastic results. Seeing the car, receiving help from the team, and being part of the biggest supported manufacturer and all part of the experience. More Brits (or anyone else) should make the trip over to an EOS, Scotty and Uwe run a brilliant series. |
Respect?
These guys are racing a new car - in public against people like you or I (or Neal) who have paid to attend the event. It's likely they will win - or beat lots of people with it too. If it's run in public - at competition events, then IMO people can snap and share what they like. Post the pictures Neal :) |

The last few posts have been a good laugh... Haha
What will be interesting to see is will 4wd start to go belt driven coming 2016... Assuming with the less weight and then even running shorty.. Will there be traction issues running on low traction etc. Though I'm sure there will be ways around it. |
I actually can't believe how ridiculous this has got.
The YZ-4 will come out when it comes out. I can't see what the desperation is. There's absoloutly nothing wrong the current car. Keep your photos to yourself Neal. I'm pretty sure these "grown ups" can wait a wee bit longer to see the car. Maybe Santa will bring them one..... |
Ill still be rocking my Bmax4, bought a TRF 503 to try belt soon, but ill bet ill want the Yokomo when its revealed haha!

A TQ, wow, go Yokomo!

Just a shame Bruno can't overtake
|
That Bruno is quick but he's rough! Lost count how many times he's ploughed trough!
|
It also says they are running a prototype, not a pre production car 😆
|
Was that the guy with the orange shell behind lee?

He was a bit brutal lol

Patience is lost on some people, I feel like a few dick or fart jokes will go a long way with this audience!
Only mistake you made Neal was saying you had pictures. What came after is pretty much to be expected from this internet entitled generation! Pleased Lee got his win and 4 chassis got into the A, Coehlo seemed ballistic, but terrifying! |
