You don't wanna see the above car right now... Lol! I raced in dirt and it's not so nice!
I don't complain though. I love dirt! These things are made for dirt and that's what they deserve!

mes 08-06-2013 03:39 PM

Has anyone tried if the Schumacher Cougar Bulldog body fits on the Yoke?

mes 21-06-2013 05:17 PM

Is there any B-Max2 owner with access to a Cougar body?
Could you check pleeeeease?!

Normal Cougar body or bulldog?? Next week at the belgium GP there will be some schumi drivers i think, so i could have a look if their body's fit.

mes 21-06-2013 06:34 PM

Thanks in advance! I'm mainly interested in the Bulldog, but the chassis footprint should be the same for both, right?
I'll be attending the combined NORC/West German regional meeting in Dortmund next week, maybe there'll be some Cougars, too. There were one or two in Langenfeld last week, but I did not have my car handy as I was only there as my son's mechanic. I'm looking forward to testing the Sweep Square Armors on dirt myself, they were brilliant on my son's B-Max4 in Duisburg!

Ooohhh... those are great tires... I run them on my Bmax2MR and love em.

Juicy74 02-07-2013 02:50 PM

Hey Mes,
I have a cougar sv2 and tried the body on my bmax. Its not a perfect fit. The footprints are different, bmax being wider.

mes 02-07-2013 05:54 PM

Thanks for checking!

Hi Paul,

looking nice and clean, I suppose you will need some name decals for that one then? Will you be at Batley next weekend? Come and find me and I'll sort you out, Jimmy has made me some new ones

Is there enough space to put a Futaba Fasst R603FF/R603FS receiver in the B-Max 2 (mid configuration) with a std size servo and saddles?

Yes! Should go quite easily depending how big your esc is!

I have an LRP SXX, saddles and a full size servo in mine and that receiver fits in no problem.

PJC 21-08-2013 02:25 PM

Thanks, I too have the LRP SXX.:)

OneKiwi 23-08-2013 02:32 PM

Exactly the same as I run and there's bags of room so you can make the wiring look neat.

Here are mine :thumbsup::

I'm going to use the car with the plastic chassis for low grip and the other one with alu chassis for high grip.

Didn't had the chance to test them both but there is a BIG difference in flex between the 2.

My new Finnisher on the MR in rear motor configuration:

discothesnake 04-09-2013 01:56 PM

Is that a new shell from Jconcepts? The old version wasn't a good fit on the MR.

mes 04-09-2013 02:04 PM

No, that's the old one. It isn't a perfect fit due to the wider chassis, but still ok when only attached with velcro.

Can you put a pic of under the car?

Thanks.

mes 24-09-2013 04:16 PM

Unfortunately not at the moment, as it is already in mid-motor config for the indoor season. There's a little air between the shell and the chassis in the front, but not an excessive amount. I think it helps that I only use velcro and not the rear body post.

OneKiwi 24-09-2013 04:54 PM

I want this shell for the MR2

skyaflake 26-09-2013 07:41 PM

Thanks

arransmith27 26-09-2013 09:08 PM

4wd mini spikes on the front?

skyaflake 27-09-2013 07:30 AM

Yeah. It was a fun race so I took some old tires I had lying around. No particular reason actually.

Normally I use (cut) stagger.

mekios 27-09-2013 08:06 AM

I see you did as i did, a hybrid bodyshell lol

dikke hond 27-09-2013 11:18 AM

Skyaflake is a badboy!
