I was hedging my bets on a free one- but if you can beat that price let me know! lol
Seriously, if I don't get one soon I will buy one, but the RDX probably wouldn't be my first choice. |
Heyup Jimmy.
What's your first choice then ? The T2R went as well as can be expected, it's a bit 'plasticy' in places, but for the cash I don't think you can go wrong. It didn't break either with is always a bonus. Andy. |
T2R or that hotbodies thing still (even tho its a plastic warrior). Do you like the T2r then ?
I thought I could write something decent for the site about a mid-entry level tourer like one of those. did you do alright ? did you sell your t1r ? |
Heyup Jimmy.
Yes I sold my T1R a good while ago on ebay. I would definatley reccommend the T2R, it seemed pretty bullet proof. It did go really well thanks, took a while to get 'into the flow' of driving a tourer again, I kept using the brakes and trying to swing the back end out for corners using like with the buggy ! After a couple of rounds I realised that simply turning into a corner on the racing line scrubs of loads of speed and being smooth and tight is the way to go. There were a few really quick cars at Gtcc that weren't regulars and they were silly fast, using BRM spec motors aparently. Anyhow I ended up 3rd in the A, could have being 2nd was close. The chap who won it drove a Losi and it was quicker than any of my modifieds ! So all in all a good first run. Won't be going for a few weeks and i'm on my jollies for a fortnight after next week, but then i'll be back, I really enjoyed it. Andy. |
were you running spec or mod andy ?
I got my vtec 24r tyres today (no, still dont have a car) and cant beleive how sticky they are - is that what you tried andy ? |
