I was hoping to race vintage and mod and run my mates car tonight, that's looking somewhat ambitious now. Still lots of racing is a good thing!

That's why I suggested lettig everybody know tonight that they need to try their best to get there around 5.30 in future.

How about we only have a very short practice [whilst the finals listings start to get sorted out] inbetween the 3rd round and finals?? and the practice at the start of the night is reasonably short also, but enough so that everybody gets a chance.

All valid points guys, I'll try to take it on board

Isn't practice only for those that set the track up or those that took it down last week? Therefore how can you have too many people practicing but not enough building the track, unless people practice without helping?

Another great point Tom. We don't want to turn the club into a "police state" so maybe we should just do away with practice all together? Whoever runs the computer doesn't get to practice anyway...

nick that was discussed quite a while ago about practice at the start being policed as those that were eligable to practice were those who built the track but alas it was never adhered too so scrapping it may be an option then everyone starts on a level playing field
