Well, you never know what can happen:confused:

chrispattinson 17-04-2008 03:15 PM

First regional with TRF501X !! Should be faster than last years (CAT 2000 EC).

Lee 17-04-2008 03:19 PM

Chris are you doing the nats this year?

chrispattinson 17-04-2008 03:25 PM

Lee - not doing them this year, it seems a bit pricey, got scared by amount of money spent by some people, maybe in a couple of years, when Ive got a bit more money, and I'm a bit better with the car, its only my 3rd or so year of regionals. Im happy enough doing end of year finals.

Just checked the latest 16day weather forecast, Sat 26th April sunny with showers, Sun 27th for the Jarrow regional................... Cloudy but dry, with sunny intervals

Dalla 17-04-2008 03:56 PM

Chris,

where did you get your 16 Day forecast?

I just want to check the week before. It might not be the weather on the day that is the problem, but how much water the ground has soaked up and how quickly the grass cuts up :(.

Keeping fingers crossed.

Ian

guess i'll be running me antique lazer zx5 then lol:pwill be good to race with da boys from hull again:drool:what 2wd do you run neil:confused:

Lee 21-04-2008 08:33 AM

I`m not sure if this has happened yet but there was talk of a set of "guidelines" for the NE section as to track designs, stuff like "if the car is jumping more than 12" off the ground there should be a down ramp.

Maybe our NE BRCA supremo can say if there is a set or if there will be one issued?

Im looking forward to getting back on grass, as long as its not muddy:lol:

If there has been talk it wasn't mentioned at the consortium meeting, as long as people remember they would only be guidelines, not BRCA regs. Might just give the moaners something else to moan about if tracks don't fully comply to the guidelines for whatever reason.

Its very easy to be critical of tracks, organisers do what they can, but different clubs can often be limited by time, cost, equipment and often manpower. By the way there is nothing wrong with grass!!

We need clubs to hold these meetings, we nearly lost a club this year due to the moans last year!!
