The front graphite plate on the rear shock mounting is longer in left side why? it seems it touch the motor plate.
Is front mounting of rear shocks still possible?

schmacher 03-02-2012 08:20 AM

i think it's just the angle of the car in that picture....it gives the appearance that one side is longer than the other

Chrislong 03-02-2012 10:27 AM

It looks amazing. Ought to be popular.
I know if I didn't own a Centro already, id be buying this.

No it's not the angle of the picture, that plate does go into the motor plate.

Has the Team developped the car in dirt conditions? Or have you focused the design for UK tracks (astro, carpet)?

john333 03-02-2012 02:10 PM

I know it's saddles and stumpy stick pack, but will it also take standard stick? didn't think so but just noticed the front lipo locator notches behind the servo??

carter_213 03-02-2012 02:34 PM

Can you use the old SV1 shell if you was to cut the spur gear cover part out?

Sticks are no problem

spud31 03-02-2012 05:29 PM

I like v v posh
Mike is the rear camber link parallel at arms level ?

mw02veg 03-02-2012 05:43 PM

The rear camber plate is the same as before just the shape has changed to accomadate the new mounting position for the rear anti-roll bar.

the 1st mid car was the MRC mrx but did not hit off

Considering development was ongoing over the winter, and the only indoor dirt track in the UK closed a while back, I'd guess it's astro/carpet focused.

It may well work on dirt - with the saddles in place, and maybe a few weights either side to induce more weight transfer? You could take a few hints from the 22 and X6 - rear weight placement, lots of toe-in, that sort of thing. This design would allow a stubby lipo to be placed across the back of the car.
