Thanks, I used vinyl masks and got more bleed than I wanted as they did not follow the creases that well. But not too bad.

I love the car, it is so much better than me so I have no excuses for my dreadful driving ;)

A humble little Bandit, that's a new body, but I bought it back in 1997:

What shell is that? Looks great!

Is there any actual benefits from using the new Losi shocks?

22 rear tower???

freckler 26-07-2012 06:42 PM

A guy named, Troy, in the US is making the xx4 Cab-Forward body. The advantage of the body is a lot more space underneath. The motor can/solder tabs, steering servo/turnbuckle, & long bullet battery plugs tabs no longer touch the body! Plus, it just looks great

I found Troy on rctech forums, 2112Troy, & email him if you are interested in one of these bodies -[email protected]

I like the Big Bores better than the kit shocks, because they make the car feels smoother over lots of small bumps(especially through turns), landings, and seems to recover on its wheels more after a crash. The car feels easier to drive fast!

The rear tower - This is my xx4 with a complete tlr22-mid rear suspension that I custom mounted on it. The new body just adds to the look. My other car is a stock xx4 WE(not in the pictures)

Great! Cheers for that
