The anti-squat is changed via a plate sitting behind the spurgear.

Northy 06-03-2008 02:01 PM

The set-up stations used to be sold through the Pred forum.

:thumbsup:In the downstairs toilet:woot:

Lookin good anyway Garry, i would second Dan`s proposal about a setup station, i know G said he noticed a difference when he tried on with the pred.

Other cars im not so sure about.

Edit: Beat me to it G, i hope this wont be a reoccuring thing lol

DCM 06-03-2008 02:03 PM

one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SetUp-Station-...QQcmdZViewItem

Northy 06-03-2008 02:07 PM

That's the puppy, I actually bought an on-road (spit) one and set the guy some measurements so he could make the off-road size pred one.

He kindly sent me a free wider top plate in return!

Excellent service.

The top link height on the inside ? are we taliking front or rear :)..

Regarding the king pin hight, it cant be changed i dont beleive, but if somone would like to correct this then fine.

Its awkward to say off hand, about the anti squat, just give me a min.. LOL obviously with it being new still having a good look round on curtain things but ill get back to you on that one.

ill get some pictures posted up on the areas youve said as soon as everything is finished off, not long till its all ready mate :).

Garry

nps
gary cool you running it at batley this weekend?

Garry Driffill 06-03-2008 04:17 PM

Carl,

As Peter said the anti squat is ajusted from behind the spur gear there is a inner pivot block that can be risen or lowerd to give anti squat levels i beleve, Ive set mine kit standard until i need to change it.

Depending on the weather mate, As you know wet sticky muddy crap isnt the best for setting a new car up. I cant see me racing Batley after talking to Dad about it, Brand new car plus snow, rain or thick mud isnt a good idea LOL...

Looks like ill be racing York on saturday night instead get a good feel of the car indoor with these new parts on and have a little play with some set-ups there. :)

Looks very good to me Gary, I ran a pred at the end of last year if I had a bit more time and the means to purchase parts off the internet I would still be running the car now fast is not the word for the car. This one will be ten times better than the one I hade as it was a x10ish, so I hope you go well with it.

Garry Driffill 06-03-2008 04:43 PM

Thanks spencer,

Im really looking forward to it mate :), just waiting on the paint to dry for the shell and ill have some pictures for everyone to look at ..
