Andy or Pete, do you know yet if we're using the overflow parking in the RAF base or not yet?

Ta, Ian

blue_pinky 21-07-2011 05:49 PM

We do have access to the overflow carpark on the base it if we need it, and suspect that will be the case.

Parking in the normal hall carpark will be first come first served, and is limited.

As soon as it's full we'll be diverting people to the overflow. Although you will be able to unload by the track then move your car up to the carpark if you miss out.

We cannot have anyone parking on the road as this will upset the already 'edgy' neighbours!

You can pit trackside, space allowing, or in the hall with the electricity.

EDIT: Ant, can you email entries and details please...we're keeping them all in one place, so we don't miss anyone with a random post that we don't spot. Cheers dude!

Cheers Andy

DCM 21-07-2011 09:54 PM

Andy, will those pitting indoors have to move to the overflow, so us hardy folk who want to put outdoors, can?

peetbee 21-07-2011 11:08 PM

That sounds fair Steve, any volunteers?!

blue_pinky 21-07-2011 11:09 PM

Umm...sounds like it'd be ideal...but would need some actual organisation!

Unlikely we'll manage to enforce it to be honest...but I agree it'd be useful.

peetbee 21-07-2011 11:23 PM

Well, I'll drop my stuff off and park in the overflow as I'll be pitting in the kitchen!

Teaboy 22-07-2011 06:04 AM

Which bit is the overflow in? i have no issues with parking there after ive unloaded. Is through into the Rally Service area?

Cheers

Rich

peetbee 22-07-2011 06:22 AM

Steve, we're in the middle of a residential area, would you be happy with generators running outside your house all day?
Just bring a long extension lead for power!!

Millzy, I really hope it doesn't snow!

Are we running round by round or FTD?

I seem to remember a post, thread or conversation saying that all WRCA events will be round by round this year?

Have I just opened a can of worms?

Roy 22-07-2011 01:07 PM

Round by round is in my notes but I haven't seen any minutes posted which confirm this.

millzy 22-07-2011 01:58 PM

Round by round!! my goodness we are catching up

just think in 6 years we might do 3 leg A finals.:)
