trust me i have tried, i went around huddersfield looking and nowhere wants anyone, then went round beginning of new year and i got the same answer. used to have a paper round, i got £8 for 40 papers a day up a huge hill, and 6 days a week, the guy wouldnt even up it to a tenner! so i quit that.

but i am looking for satdy/week evening work so if ur based in huds, im available!

£8.00 for 40 papers? That can't be short of £8.00 per hour can it? £48.00 for 6 hours work? jeez, i would have quit that too. Any one doing a paper round must be worth £10.00 per hour......

And the other shop gave the job to my mate, he asked over the counter and i wrote a letter and sent a CV aswell :confused: and the other shop is to small for more than 3 people to be in at the same time so i doubt he needs a saturday boy :(. And im not working in tesco's!

You wouldn`t, seriously, if you think of what you spend on a weekend racing it aint that much, if you weren`t racing you would be out wih your mates and spend the same.

having said that the F345`s last year cost me £700 somehow and i have no idea where it went:(

I spoke with Dianne this morning. She will load all entries onto the Computer by mid week. Once they are in, We can generate a competitor list which I will be able to load to the club website.

Mike Hudson 09-02-2008 11:37 PM

Me too :) last year i was booked in to do it and then couldn't go and had to cancel my entry:(

b4rs 10-02-2008 10:30 AM

i cant wait but i need to get everything runnng properly. and be prepared for breakges, as nearly every race i manage to break something

Cockerill 10-02-2008 10:07 PM

John/Jimmy/Batley, has a decision been made on Lipo? Will we be allowed to run it?

b4rs 11-02-2008 10:26 AM

dont count me on it, but im sure it was mentioned somewhere else as a "no". but its not for definate.

lets have hope...

but it would be unfair on the non-lipo'ers as lipo does have a slight advantage, (quite a bit really isnt it).

lol, could do a 2-cell lipo race though.
