Lipo? Ridged cases please.
 
I'm surprised that no one has yet released a hard cased LiPo with 'lumps' to simulate a conventional cell race pack. Surely the extra plastic involved would be more than offset by the weight saved on the cells themselves.

A lumpy LiPo would be much easier to fit into a touring car chassis wouldn't it. Something for the manufacturers to think about perhaps.

the lumps dont alter the size of the cell inside the case, there just plastic moulded lumps

:eh?:Er, I didn't think I did. I just thought they could chuck a bit more plastic into a mould to put some lumps on the underside of the case - apologies, I didn't realise Orion had already done this. I don't get out much!!:D
