coming back to the dark side then mr potter ? cant believe your selling it after only breaking a couple of ball cups and a front shock shaft |
and then choosing a Losi because its stronger??
xx4 has such a twig of a front-end. |
The shock shafts on the b44 are twigs.

Since getting my B44 I've only broken two things, both front shock shafts. I don't know why, but these seem fairly easy to break. Did people have these issues with the BJ4, as I assume (having not seen a BJ4 in the flesh) the shocks are the same?
Plus the B44 front shafts seem to be like rocking horse poo at the moment. Anyone know where I can get one from, as I am now in need? Quote:

Havent broken one thing on my b44 yet, had some massive crashes as well. I have seen quite a few front shafts break but if replaced with the unobtanium ones (length is slightly different but nothing to to much to make a massive difference) i think it would help to solve the problem.
|
The standard ones are "unobtanium" arn't they? So the different length seems to work better?

The standard shafts on the B44 are gold, not sure what they are called.
The ones that came with the "old" b4 FT are a silver/blue. The new B4 FT kit comes with gold. I meant trying the silver/blue shafts on the b44 even though they are different lengths, cant remeber if they are longer or shorter..... |
std shafts are steel.......
old FT shafts were unobtainuim.....they changed them because the Unob ones where losing a bit of their coating after time and could become notchy.....you can tell these ones as they have a blue shade...but they do seem to be the stronger option..... the losi car....well i like to call it the chocolate..............cause thats what its made of! hahaha |
b4 shafts are about 2mm shorter than std b44 shafts but 2mm is alot in shock terms.

Not really as you just make them th same length by loosening the shockrod ends a couple of turns and they are fine or you can alternatively get longer rod ends from some other brands
