Super cool, very tidy and simple, great side profile shapes, nice and easy to see on the track !

Thanks, they look simple on the body now but they were a real pain to mask and cut right  I had a few anger issues with it lol.

Look good dude.

Anger issues, that's all part of the fun of painting...

jonmiller 16-09-2011 08:13 PM

That was said more for the fact I knew you were having such a good time with your latest shell expedition

eyeayen 16-09-2011 10:44 PM

 yeah, it's erm, winding me up, which is a shame cos this is just a hobby for me now, I think I'm taking it too seriously, I knew you were just winding me though.

I'll get the hang of it, everyone else seems to have

Cheers Mike,

I still am pretty laid back but this design was bugging me big time and for something so simple.

Haven't seen much of your work up lately Mike, hope your still snapping away

Always find its the simplest of things which need more prep & thought behind the work :)

Yeah still slinging the paint fella, just up to my eyeballs in it at the moment but got a few things to post up tonight

Yea quite enjoyed doing something a little different, I was planning on different colours but I removed the wrong colour first and had to change it .

thanks for the comments guys.

School boy error  we've all done ! Looks good though, what colours was it going to be ? You could have put the colour down you wanted, backed it with white and a little silver and that will make it completely opaque, although you'd have had a higher build in that area, just in case you do it again.

Reckon you got away with it fine though as it looks cool !

Ya know what I'm not quite sure , I know I was putting the purple on the back of the body but started removing the centre, I think it was purple at the back, white central area and I'm not sure about the front now, It was written on the film so........

I did think about putting down the lighter colour then backing it, but I decided to change the colours around instead.

sometimes a mistakes makes you change a design and it looks better and I think this is one of those times.:)
