New +8mm chassis and soft top deck
diffrent front link mount
cells moved back

I never got to a computer computer last night so it will probably be Monday now before I get it up.

Racingdrawf: I was at Ardent today and got a pretty good setup, using the standard chassis, plastic gearbox and 20g of stick on weights. If your about tomorrow Phil Booth has a copy or come and see me sat morning :thumbsup:

That would be just the job, I should think I will be finding you saturday am, as due to work I'm stuck home till then:cry:.

are schu going to be releasing the longer chassis in S1 composite material. Would prefer more flex than carbon.

Has Any one been running the 2mm soft chassis as remember one team driver was running it last time I spoke to him but has anyone else run it tested it and stuck with it.

I ran the 2mm thick chassis before going +8mm. It wasn't a huge step for me at my level, not like going +8mm. Everyone is in favor of more flex and for sure it was not a negative step.

Haven't seen you for a while chap but remember you swapped over to the 8mm chassis and you were going better with it than the standard one.

But I'm going to be running a cougar soon and going to try the 8mm at some point and thought about trying the 2mm soft one as well.

I ran the 8 mm chassis yesterday in loose dirt with proline bowties, huge difference in traction and stability, but I did lose steering. Now I have to find more steering.

I can now hit the throttle and breaks without losing the rear...very happy with that.

Yeah that's what I wonder when they brought out the 2mm soft chassis as you would still get the steering but a bit more flex.

So shall try out them both over time and see which best suits my driving.

The 8mm chassis gives more rear weight bias where the soft chassis is to provide more traction on bumpy tracks, there is a difference in the two.

If you find the car has enough traction now and just want more stability in the rough stuff go to the soft chassis. If you don't have enough forward traction switching to the 8mm chassis will fix that.

As bought the car 2nd hand off the for sale section on here the other day and don't know what the car has been run with so have a base set up I'm going to run straight away but would be good to try out the different chassis.

I have been running the 2mm thick standard length chassis for sometime now and find it the most suitable one for me. I found it gave the car slightly more flex and made it easier to drive in most conditions.

I have tried to +8mm one and personnaly was not that keen on it. Thats not to say that it wont work for many other drivers, i just prefer a slightly more agressive car. I am sure the longer chassis will be good on low grip tracks such as dirt or clay as the car will be much more predicable through corners. I know that a number of the other schumacher team drivers prefer the +8mm chassis.

Pm Steveb as he is selling a 2mm thick chassis as I think he decided on the 8mm chassis.

I've tested my SV today on standard chassis at the changed torch layout and liked it. So I am going to borrow an 8mm chassis and go from there. Equally I'm not a very good driver some may not notice the chassis change.
