I give up mate. Should have sold the Revo bloody great thing :woot:.

chris brown 31-08-2010 09:02 PM

Nah. I love me e revo. It even kept up with the sc10s outdoors.
Considering getting a bigger motor for it coz I'm daft like that.

The Doctor 01-09-2010 07:26 AM

Yeah, I think it'll be best to store the down ramps on top of everything else in the loft. Will be stronger vs making them up from smaller sections. And with all those crappy SC10s landing nose-first into them, they'll need to be strong.

The mega ramp of death is...

In the shed.

Well done to lloyd, Ant and Martin. this is going to be one awesome jump for the indoor series and regionals.

Will we be using it on club nights mate. I think Dave should be the first to jump it with his mini :woot:.

antnee 09-09-2010 09:52 AM

To use it on club nights we will need people to help set up early and stay to pack away.

Dave Dodd 09-09-2010 11:50 AM

sorry but my mini wont be going over the ramp

Only cos it wouldn't make it up the takeoff ........:p

We will have to use it tomorrow to test it out, but seriously it ain't called the 'Mega Ramp of Death' for nothing. It is Mega in every sense, so we will need people to help get it out and pack it up. Might have to be used for outdors and indoors offroad only.

It nearly claimed my head twice!! as I was marshalling it....yep well done for time and effort into building it....it's a bit too steep for my liking though:(

antnee 11-09-2010 12:37 PM

Well the idea of it was to throw the car up into the air for height instead of distance, so it can be used in a smaller piece of track, like were it was last night, just need bit more of a straight run up to it for safety reasons

If they are the original gold shock shafts then it doesn't take much to break them anyways. buy some B4 fronts instead, they never break.
