Indeed, very good 4WD and look forward to more of it with spring and summer inbound.

John, I think Simon has got some good photos from today.

I'm in the process of a full strip of the Cat SX and then getting things sorted during the week for the EPR GP.

Fingers crossed for big bores turning up this week :)

Soon the mud will be gone and we'd like to slow it down.

So, 4 rounds and a final?

No pics of my Cat SX - booo

What oil did you end up with in your 511?

wylie 04-04-2010 08:16 PM

Had a great day can't wait till May for all day meeting bit more relaxation.
Nice Photos Simon.

Nice Photos Simon.

Indeed great day.

Got a few work parties to do to help with getting sorted a few things etc.

First one is next Saturday.

4 and a final would be fine. 5 and a final is fine too, if I had my arse in gear! I don't have a problem missing a race or two, better that way than sat around waiting for something to happen.

Given the amount of rain we had I was very impressed with the turnout, great racing! I even enjoyed cleaning the car!

Oil, hmm, ended up with 400 front and 250 rear. It wasn't right though, I'd have lower on the front, maybe 300, and I'd go with less pack, perhaps 3 hole pistons instead of the 2 hole that were in. A great learning experience today!

Got a good reliable core of racers ;)

I found my rear too hard I think. Would drop to 37.5 / 27.5 on 3 hole pistons. Got 40 / 30 in at the mo. Next time big bores I hope :)

it's a good challenging track

would like to do 10 minutes between rounds. Will try and set the computer to this next time.

Simon,

What table is that in your blog photos?

Cheers,

Mike

Cool, not badly priced.. Mmmm food for thought for EPR next weekend.

simoncrabb 08-04-2010 05:50 PM

I'm a bit scared of those 8 minute finals now, my motor melted at about 6 minutes.

http://rclazy.com/2010/04/08/doctor-...ed-an-lrp-x11/

Don't worry though, the motor had died the weekend before, probably during a 10 minute practice run...

mikeyscott 08-04-2010 06:29 PM

We'll only be doing 7 minutes in the future. We're heading into dry season which will mean we'll be busier hopefully!
