air con drain, if it hits that its in your door seals and allready in the car givin you wet feet!
ah, that could be why the seatbelts are a little damp then?

off topic, my focus has a boot leak problem.
when it rains the boot gets a lot of water in it.
I've checked the seal round the boot lid and it seems ok, and around the opening its dry. it seems to be coming in from the inside?:eh?:

is it a common focus problem or have I bought a duffer?

mark christopher 26-06-2007 10:12 PM

damp seat belts? the belt webbing? there in the b pillar, if water is in them it should flood out when you open the door as your foot well will be fullLOL

can be rear lights ill ask our leak man tomorrow

Off the focus topic - I was trying to get from Beverly to Hornsea along Catwick road when I came across a litle water. In the water was a busted HGV....... with water just under the top of the windscreen! By my reckoning thats about 10ft...

Also took me nearly 5hours to get from Hull back to York (every road except one was shut on monday)

langers 26-06-2007 11:18 PM

i to work at ford dealer and am senior tech but get to do the same jobs as you but without the title

Northy 27-06-2007 07:43 AM

yes get a new pollen filter cover, (black plastic pannel under passenger wiper arm, bottom of windscreen) they have modified it as its prone to leak, lets water into the pass footwell

Bloody hell... what on earth?!

DCM 28-06-2007 12:09 PM

looks like the force of the water in the river has eroded away the river bank and caused the foundations to become unspported.... thats not even funny though, only positive thing, if they are insured, they get to buy a new house...

_sleigh_ 28-06-2007 01:12 PM

It's been reported that people are going into the local Tesco's and buying deposible cameras, just to take photo of this house. Sad ba****ds.

Fair play to the family of the home owners. When the owners rang 999 they got told there was no fire service crews available due to other calls. So the teenage grandchildren came and helped the old couple get out safely.
