Sanwa servos are a touch shorter between mounting holes than KO and Futaba, so it could be a little more tricky.

That said, I know Si Moss runs for Sanwa, and I think Grant runs a Sanwa servo, and I definitely had a Sanwa in my prototype car - so they can definitely be used.

I actually ran the plastic blocks (and steering cranks for that matter) at the last national of last year, and the British indoor open thingy the other week. In the face of it, they seem quite strong. I hit a car very hard down the main straight in my last run, which in turn fired the car straight into the wall at the end of the main straight. Blocks fine, wishbone broken!

I wonder where the weak point will be now what with the stronger wishbones?
I know I used to bend hinge pins and have stress marks on the alloy 10-degree blocks after a large impact...

I wonder if there will be additional holes in the 'stronger' rear wishbones for the rear shock conversion? They're not on the photo's of the prototype car on Schumachers site - maybe something for production?

They had them on the new wishbones I saw a few weeks ago at worksop:thumbsup:

Re the plastic blocks, do they replace the shims for doing toe in etc. on the rear?

Mikey, tbh I don't know as I didn't fit the rears. However, I suspect they will follow the same approach as the Mi4 ones.

These have toe molded into them, so if you want to make it wider, you use the same shims front and rear. If you want to change the toe you just add/remove shims from one end. Yes this does potentially put some strain on it - however, in plastic, this isn't an issue.

Sounds simpler and you now also have toe in on the hub with the new alloy hubs

Looks like a new chassis listed on the parts section, so it's basically virtually a new car :(

Cat SX with stiff chassis for £150 anyone :(

Just taken my Savox out of my B4 and it fits the Cat SX much better and lines up nicely, the Sanwa is now going to go into the Cougar SV or maybe back into the B4 and I'll order another Savox.

Seen the cost of the big bore shocks etc. That'll be £80 for them, ouch...

I reckon selling the Cat SX for £150 would be a better option and then getting a new one....

These prices sound to my crazy,do you think the prices will drop and its just to get us to buy the new one?

And would like to hop up my sx,as ive done with lots of my schuys.

I have already asked them if they are doing an upgrade pack and no was the answer.

Time to think about what I'm going to do as I understand the new chassis is different to the Carbon stiff lipo edition.
