You're thinking of volume there Carl

20m straight = 65', is there a minimum length for a national?

I might have a wander down one day, indoor dirt = dialled

AS said before we could run an indoor national meeting it is to the rules.

last time I measured the track it was 100m long ish 2.5m wide.

the only people who think it is too small are the people who have not been there.

coolcars782 27-11-2009 09:10 AM

I think PDA would be a great track for the nationals, it would be the only whole dirt track and offer a conmpletely different type of race.

I thought the minimum width of the track for a National event was 3m?

PaulUpton 27-11-2009 01:11 PM

I think some of the dates/venues have been decided

burgie 27-11-2009 01:29 PM

given that the committee meeting to decide the national venues for 2010 was held last night, I think you might be correct. :bored:

PaulUpton 27-11-2009 01:48 PM

And that I've had a email with some of the dates on it =)

Is the new track in the same place??

yes, new lanes going in so the bumpy straight will be part of the infield and the big back jump tech will be to far to use for 10th. but fine for 8th

David Church 27-11-2009 02:24 PM

I know all:p I was at the meeting:thumbsup:

outdoor track has to be 3m wide.

Indoor 2.5m wide. unless the rules have changed since 2009 rule book.
