I understand why your frustrated mate, but you have no idea if it was user error or not, neither does anyone else. All you can conclude from 2 mtgs use is it was perfectly good when Matt sold it! Maybe this row should be left alone to avoid another big oople argument.

If your friends happy with his new speedo now thats all that matters at the end of the day :thumbsup:

I didn't mean to imply anything about you, I know of people who claimed for new speedo's years down the line when they had changed hands lots of times.
I agree the warranty should be valid for 2nd owners etc just like a Car etc but you wouldn't get a life time warranty on a car or on most things!

As for the speedo you got from me it worked perfect for me & I'm sorry it failed on you but things do fail. If you had said something at the time I could of helped you out.
