Thanks to all for the kind comments, as always they are very much appreciated by all involved at EPR. A fantastic turn-out, we really were surprised by the numbers on this date! Good to see so many new and returning faces!

Special thanks to our Race Director for the day, Tom Stacey, who in between emailing his Mum, checking out his mails and seeing what was happening on Ebay ran a good meet, thanks matey! Technology eh?

Thanks also to one of our unsung hero's, Roger, who manned transponder control all day, thanks Rog!

Just to highlight the winners:

EPR South East GP 2WD Champion: Kevin Moore (!)
2nd Matt Benfield
3rd Kit Jones

EPR South East GP 4WD (Modified) Champion: Ellis Stafford
2nd Andy Carter
3rd Stuart Rand

EPR South East GP 4WD (Stock) Champion: Dave Crew
2nd Jon Paul Spencely
3rd Ryan Short

Go on Dave, make 'em have it next Wednesday! Just goes to show what can be done with a stock motor, Dave's time would have put him EIGHTH in the Modified A Final, well done sir!

Thanks to Tracey for the much needed sugar rush.

And a special thanks to you all for your contributions to the raffle, very generous and we hope all the winners will enjoy their prizes!

See you all again soon, keep an eye on this forum and the EPR website for all the latest!

Hehe mate, when are you going to get out and race with us as well. It should be a blast from the past if you do a vintage event there. I may well do my Lazer.:p

HKP 23-03-2009 08:02 PM

I do race... just rallycross cars these days. Somewhat embarrassingly for the race director of the South East's finest multi surface track, I do not own a modern race capable 10th buggy :blush::blush::blush:

Well maybe you should arrange a vintage class event at EPR, then you can. Now that would be fun, and I would race my 4wd.

greasy mark 23-03-2009 09:04 PM

hell yea that could be fun

cwilson 23-03-2009 10:14 PM

great days racing yesterday. i was very suprised at the speed of the stock class. they are very quick for just 13.5 brushless.

DomRC 25-03-2009 12:44 PM
