Easy answer is come race at last round of oople winter series.
You won't pay till get a place and entry is not like figuring out how to brake the enigma code like the brca website.

You know what you lot need to get over it it the booking opened at 7 first come first serve you go on line you fill details in you pay your fee if you were in the first 130 you got a place if not you'll no doubt get a refund.

I'm looking forward to the meeting I'm in only raced there once about 3 year ago my biggest issue is should I buy or make a shock tower protector my hotel is booked and paid for happy days

I'll see the other 129 drivers at the meeting and hopefully beat as many as possible

Have fun all

I will

Stu,
Not a very helpful answer. I probably like many others have entered for both classes and after having the entry accepted and paid for in full have gone and booked a hotel room for two nights to then later find that my son has been allocated a place for 4wd and is on the reserve list for 2wd.

I knew that I'd be on the reserve list as when I entered my details into the system it told me that the places had been filled. The last time we attended BWOC was in 2013 and booking in was done through central booking so instantly you could see who had entered and who was on the reserve list. This made the process transparent and more importantly you knew that you were in and then could arrange digs.

What a load of bullshit !!!

People booking in well before 7, very few national A finalists in the long 2wd reserve list.
Oversubscribed at 7.05.....even Justin Beiber tickets don't sell out this quick !!
First come come first served

Bullshit !

Bullshit !

what has national A finalists not being on the reserve list got to do with anything? There is no published list of confirmed entries yet - for all you know there could be no National A finalists who booked in in time.

Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone had a list of the approved electrics (batteries and motor) please.

Cheers

I find it incredible that many listen to so much bull and actually believe it.
If you want to know facts then ask the right people.
I took on the PRO job to inform people of what is what and how things happen but I cannot entertain people assuming and causing a stir instead of quoting facts.

Things like the system crashed are utter rubbish.

Anyways, whos Justin whoever his called anyway!!!
Where did 7.05 come from?
And the list goes on.....

Ask sensible question then I will be more than happy to answer

Aside from the odd troll, most people understand that the event is popular and so oversubscribed..

The communications (emails and requests for payment etc) have been a little confusing however, so think this has caused some frustration.

Can we request refunds now? No point in waiting to see if 70 plus people drop out!

Hi Adam

70 doesn't sound good obviously!
We cannot do any transactions at the moment as PayPal randomly limited the account thinking we are a money laundering outfit.
Obviously refunds and so on will be given as soon as possible as competitors request to be deleted from the reserve list.
I would suggest staying on it for now.

The reserve list will be updated through the coming weeks and that can be found on the section website

Okay,
Now I'm starting to get upset !
Checked this morning I'm 3rd reserve in 4wd
And thinking yeah after paying out for entries in both 2wd, 4wd and a hotel !
I might just get an entry for my money.

This afternoon, I'm 4th reserve.

HOW ?? 😡

I feel very cheated, and at the point that there is no point to racing as a "hobbyist"

That is correct with 3 leg A Finals - just like the Nationals

Colin
This is my mistake and I apologise.
I had an email well before the reserve list was printed and I misunderstood it. I now had to correct the reserve list by time of entry and this is now correct. Again I apologise, this is purely my error.
Fingers crossed you're in

Just my thoughts.....

Hi,

I've just read this thread, I'll point out I'm a bystander because i don't want an entry but i know many who do and they all feel the booking in was, I'm sorry to say but, rigged, in favour of high profile racers. Its understandable because the elite always seem to get an entry in both classes whilst Joe Average struggles to get one.

My reason for posting is I recently experienced something similar and its annoying. If there is an agreed process, stick to it without exception.

So to end all the arguments, is it not possible to get a report from the booking in system, filter it to name and entry time, then post it. If DPA is an issue, then fine but have the data hard copy at all the summer nationals to prove its fair for all. And last point, if its not and some do get to book in early, be open about it and why. People will understand.

Don't mean to agree with anyone, or cause any offense. Just posting observations.
