And there was me thinking that it was just the way you set it up for her Nath:lol:

There's something Big-E -esque about the nature of that breakage...

i watched E for his most commonly broken part and brought a job lot for emma as she does seem to watch his car for lines (she is doomed i know) i keep trying to get her to watch a sensible driver like ghost rider but after today ............................

joking aside was an awsome day today, really enjoyed the track layout, the smooth running and mc,harpoon's commentary :woot:, thanks to andy (from Emma) for the transmitter bag for the day as her hands didnt like the cold, and both of us cant wait untill next month

First off, can I add to Matt's thanks?
Thanks for the better than expected turn-out, considering the conditions, though we should be thankful that we weren't racing today! When I went past at just after 8:00AM the track looked fantastic.....covered in about an inch of snow with more still falling!

Thanks for all the generous comments, they are always very much appreciated by the ever increasing amount of people involved in running these events. Apologies for one or two 'Murray Walker' moments on the mike, Race Director Tom Stacey is working on a 'cunning plan' which may help us all, more of which hopefully by the next round!

Thanks to Big E for the very generous donation to the club of a wonderful selection of very impressive trophies for the Club/Region to use. Any other similar generous donations would be very gratefully accepted and will be used to primarily reward the newer and Junior drivers participating and I'm sure will be very much appreciated by the eventual recipients!

Next continued apologies from us, the EPR website is still crook at the moment and Alex will again be trying to sort it out when he returns from Aus!
However, in the interim, this does obviously prevent us from updating it and also adding the current Winter Warmer 0809 2 &4WD Championship positions so I thought I'd use this opportunity to again list the top 5 of each class here.....

EPR Winter Warmer 2008/09 2WD Championship (after 4 rounds of 6)

1. Simon Overall 380 points
2. Chris Brooke 376
3. Rob Wadley 352
4. Charles Wilson 352
5. Ellis Stafford 301 (only participated at 3 rounds to date)

EPR Winter Warmer 2008/09 4WD Championship (after 4 rounds of 6)

1. Kevin Lee 393 points
2. Simon Overall 372
3. Steve Andrews 363
4. Grant Williams 298 (only participated at 3 rounds to date)
5. Nathan Ralls 290 (only participated at 3 rounds to date)

Should any other drivers wish to know their Championship standings please feel free to PM or mail for a current position or a full listing.

Sunday 01 February 2009 will see us hosting Round 5 of the series and with 4 rounds out of 6 to count positions will start to take more shape.
Hope to see you all there!

Thanks Steve. To elaborate a little, if anyone has a computer monitor they could donate to a worthy cause, could they please PM either myself, Brookie or MattADH with details or speak to one of us trackside.

Small and light would be preferable over large and heavy!

Thanks in advance,

Tom
