I think the usual stuff, but running a losi i think most people will be able to sort you out as they are one of the more popular cars |

I bet you never came of the rostrum and said to Jim, "that car could really do with being x mm longer" ;) |
Pete is it? (Answer-RC) ...
|
I think it only needs to be Xmm longer at the end of the straight-away.
All I really need is for the engine to be tuned so I can get over the big jumps! :woot::woot::woot: G |

He was at Bury indoor just gone... Had a little play on that 8th lecky of his :)
Is there specific clutches for specific engines? Sorry for all the questions  :p |
The few i have built garry have all been the same.
I'm not sure how long they last though |
If they last 5 meetings at the price looks worth it to mee :o

Ive been running a losi 2.0 for 6 weeks now and know the car inside out. There are loads of changes from the first 8ight, the mosi important ones seem to be the revised rear suspension and longer chassis which definately makes the car much more stable. The other changes are tweaks and revisions and all of the plastic is made from another material which is much darker in colour. The losi changes direction so quickly and jumps so well it drives like no other car. I also run an xray 808 which is easier to drive than the losi but isnt ultimately as quick but in wet weather or low grip its a better bet.
As for spares, the most important things to have with you are clutch bearings. Clutch shoes last 5+ meetings depending on what engine, springs, thumb your using so you should have an idea when they need changing its not going to suddenly lose drive. But clutch bearings dont last long, i use one set for qualifying then change them for finals. If they collapse you end your race and kill your spur and clutch bell. Also if your looking for somewhere more central to race this sunday Deerdale is on which is just south of blyth services on the A1. Its just a little north of worksop. Track is all astro and really good, they get good entries for the winter series too. Jimmi. |

You may need to sort your end float out it you are getting through that many:o |
I have my clutch bell end float set up correctly, i have yet to have a bearing fail. For the cost of them i figure its easier to change them early for piece of mind.

Ok... So its not that they don’t last long or they fail its just you change them for peace of mind Quote:
