Dunno if I'm more interested in X6's or hearing about the delights of Mexico, but to get back on topic, what's a good "base" setting for the shims? I'll be running indoor mainly on carpet.

As Dan said earlier (quoted) you can go more antisquat (less shims) to be more aggressive (rear end is a little looser) or less antisquat to be "safer". It's an easy adjustment to change, so I'd suggest start "safe" (like 1 or 2 degrees) and in practice try going to like 4 or 5 and just see how it feels to you. |
