I went for the 16025-3 Z Series, I thought about going for the 28025 but mine should still have 45-50 amps to spare on what the Neu motor will pull. From what I've heard it's not as smooth as the MMM although I haven't noticed any cogging as it spins up prior to the Tekno clutch engaging. I've got some long shank pinions to try direct drive as well which will probably show up any cogging more than the clutch will.
Cool, sounds good! That thing should be able to handle enough current for most motors you want to try. What motor/voltage are you actually running? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just interested. :)

:)DT I'm running a Neu 1515-1Y 2200kv on 14.8v, I need to know the final decision on what will be allowed to race before committing to buying anything more than 4S at the moment.
Does anyone know what will officially be allowed to race in 1/8th electric voltage wise?:)

Ah, fair enough. The 1Y is a great motor for 4S. :)

I don't know anything about planned rules from the BRCA, but I do know that ROAR in the USA are planning on limiting voltage to 4S...and I can't see the BRCA going against that. Personally I don't see why they can't raise the bar to 6S, which will allow much more flexibility and no disadvantage to 4S users. But that's just me, lol.

My guess would be 4 cell, plus the fact that balance of your car with 6 cell could be interesting to setup :eh?:
