You never heard of development?

the b44 was about before big bores.
The Durango had gear diffs but was also about before big bores
The xb4 14 is a revision of a car that already has what the majority of drivers want gear diffs and big bores.

Like I said it's my opinion, schumacher have now released a more appealing car to the current market and what I think drivers want from a £300+ kit.

Mark you are clearly missing the point lets spell it out IMO IF THE CAR CAME WITH ALL THESE UPDATES FROM DAY ONE THEY WOULD HAVE SOLD MORE AFTERALL THE DHOCKS SND DIFFS WERE ALREADY AVAILIBLE. is this clear.

+1

And who else gives you the tuning options of ball or gear diffs?

I can understand some comments about how quick the K1 has been updated as it is a bit unlike Schumacher, but it is 1 year since the K1 came out and that was a revolution from the SX series and it seems that Schumacher are developing a lot with this platform. After all X Ray always seem to bring out a new car in pretty much every platform every year yet no one bats an eyelid. But it can look like some have come on here just to knock Schumacher.

The K1 Aero looks like an awesome car and builds from a very good platform. The change to 12mm wheel hexes is a big plus and should make it easier for people to convert to Schumacher, which hopefully will result in more sales for this British company.

Out of interest will the K1 option S1 chassis fit the new Aero? If so this has no cut out for the spur gear and should help the guys who run on dirt/clay.

A nice evolution

Carbon chassis
Hex wheel fitment
gear diffs
big bores.

I've got the K1 and like it and ironically have done 3 out the 4 upgrades..

More than just four changes Mikey. Eleven that i can see.

Sorry, yes very true, I classed the top deck update as part of the chassis update.

Do like the look of the new body

Hoping to get an Aero and paint it a la Masami 1987....decals too

Picked mine up yesterday and built it today.

I have to say the build quality is superb. This year I have built 3 AE cars, 4 Durango's, 1 Losi and 4 Schumacher's. The Schumacher kits are the best by far. They all have good points and bad points but the Schumacher has the best instructions with all the parts easy to locate due to the bag per step. Can't fault them at all.

New body and wing look great!

I wasn't counting the body and wing, only chassis changes.

If you have SX3 ball diffs then all you would need is the pulleys to convert them.

My Aero is on it's way (to importer) so hopefully I'll have mine Monday !!
Getting FAB too...
Q: I would like to know how neccissary the alloy upper shock tower housing were on the K1 ? (I will get them as soon as the budget allows anyway)
But wondered if it was an upgrade that should be done immediately - especially if you consider it may prevent snapping a shock tower too.
How many of you broke the stock housing before upgrading ? I wonder if the Aero's nut guards work to add overall integrity & durability to this area .... thoughts ?

A worth while upgrade for the front, although the front nut guard should stop the shock mounting bolts from digging into the racing surface.

Front but guard should be a massive improvement especially if you race anywhere like southport!
I was for ever replacing nuts if it rolled on the Tarmac or cobbles!
Definetly a good upgrade depending on how it wears obviously a but is cheaper than one of those protectors!
