I'm going to the worlds this year, and originally I was thinking I can't afford to go. Then the outdoor season started in Norway, and I watched some vids and pics from last years race.... I can't not go!!!

I put my entry in now, hope I can have some epic battles again this year, and more drinks with everyone!!

Got my invite

After competing at the oople series and enjoying it, is it too late to submit a race entry or are all the spaces full??

Thank you

Don't quote me on this. But if you are doing all 3 of the series and fill in the application asap you'll likely still get a spot.

Over subscribed yes - but not full no. Get your entry in.

More payment requests have gone out today, mostly to those that filled the form in early and have not had a payment request to date.

Our experience from previous years is that some folk never pay-up so due to some long tern non-payers there are now more place payment requests outstanding than actual places available.

1 - If you have payment outstanding get it sent ASAP.
2 - Entries finally close at about 8pm on August 9th.

I'm paid up

With it just being over a month till oople invernational.

2WD Tyres which compound holeshots M3 or M4.

Fronts the ribs or holeshot fronts?

There was a mix of m3 and m4 in the A final at the recent meeting. Ive got both, think it depends on how dry/dusty the track is. Cant comment on fronts.

Neil dominated in 2012 using M3's.

luniemiester 23-06-2013 06:52 PM

Is there any chance of a list of paid up entries being put up as I still have no idea if my payment has been accepted properly after I paid through PayPal

So that doesn't answer my question then as 4wd is very different to 2wd.

Personally for the rears id have a few pairs of each
M4 compound is softer than the M3's giving you the option to change if you need to.

& as for front 2wd tyres just stick with good old standards ribs! Never go wrong with Ribs.

johnboy 23-06-2013 08:03 PM

Thank you for the info

As I said, the A final had a mix of both m3 and m4.

This was in 2wd and 4wd to add to that.

Your welcome

John, choice in 2wd front tyres are the 4 Ribs, typically in M3, or scrubs again in M3: http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php...-tyres-m3.html

I prefer the scrubs on my B4, they actually give a little less front end grip on the whole, but for me is the right amount of initial turn in. Both are good though.

I normally run M3 rear, but ran M4's last time I was on the dirt, and they were excellent.

Holeshot fronts are a 4wd tyre.

I believe you are free to use any proline tyre on the front in 2wd, holeshots only on rear.

Am I able to swap my entry from 2WD to 4WD please :) Confirmation of this would be appreciated.

Who's the official shop this year? And will there be other shops as per usual?

Oscar 04-08-2013 04:39 PM

Mike Parker from No.5 Designs has kindly supported the oOoos all year, so I believe the plan is for this to be the main official shop at the Invernational also.
