You can also use the same shocks if you wish. As was said above, control arms will be retained. Also retained will be the toe-in bars and wing mounts.

Body-on pix of Rich Lowe's and Darren's X - 6 Cubeds are now on our FB page.

Am I interpreting correctly that at the front bottom of the chassis (close to the alumiunium post and the steering rack), it is matte grey, and the piece that holds that post is integrated to the bottom of the chassis? :eh?: Might that be a moulded tub then? :)

I quite like the slim profile of the chassis and the carbon towers... I'm really curious what's under that shell! :p

Vampire  (sorry couldnt resist )

Without giving too much away right now, we have run both saddles and shorties so far.....

DrPaul 08-03-2013 02:39 PM

Thanks Darren......always the salesman :)

YoungChazz 09-03-2013 04:41 AM

I'm not as cagy as Darren. On the X - 6 Cubed, take your pick, saddle or shorty. No stick.

Darren Boyle 09-03-2013 08:22 PM

There you have it officially from the horses mouth (not that Chazz is a horse)

The Cubed will take either shorty or saddles, our team seem to have preffered the shorty at present, but equally good set ups have been found using saddles too

I assume Mark, you mean Richs at Worksop...

It did indeed continue to go very well, depsite what some other manufacturuers race reports say () Rich TQ'd in round 1, being the only 2wd car to make it through to 16 laps, round 2 he got pipped by Nathan Waters (series and event winner), but Rich did still start second in the A final..

In his own words, he and Nathan were 1 and 2 in the final until he (Rich) "sp**** up" the last lap letting Craig Collinson through into 2nd, so he ended up a close behind 3rd, still a great result for his time with the new car at that venue....
