Perfectly tidy as we've come to expect from you now, not really my cup of tea but it still looks great !

carborush 27-02-2013 10:18 PM

this one's a copy of a 1/1 existing mini

http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...psf47db0a3.jpg
and for this one I was asked to 'copy' that body.
(so credit for this design goes to an unknown painter)

Holy Crap.

That World or Warcraft shell is simply the most detailed shell I have ever seen!

Would love to see some piccies of that in progress - did you paint it all with an airbrush - or was some of it by hand with a brush?

Either way - looks ridiculous - incredible :)

Andy

carborush 30-03-2013 07:29 PM

thanks Andy

it a combination of airbrush handbrush stencils and knive scratching
the really fine details can't be airbrushed that requiers the other techniques

n design 30-03-2013 07:29 PM

That's NICE, love the dark red and moody background.:wub

eyeayen 31-03-2013 12:48 AM

Simply incredible, not only the detail but the fact you painted it in reverse on a body.

Are you just doing these for yourself ? As a hobby ? What sort of time are you spending on them ? You're clearly very very talented !

MrMagoo 31-03-2013 06:38 AM

That's got to be the most insanely detailed shell I've seen. Totally amazing job!

Danny Harrison 01-04-2013 12:58 AM

Truly amazing that world of warcraft shell. I think that would win any competition, anywhere to be fair.
