ha ha. I don't just wait for the DVD, I wait for them to drop below £5 at Asda. When i need a shirt for work, £3 George ones, and same for trousers etc.. 2 for £25 jeans (comfier than the Teddy Smiths I have too).

But thats because id rather drive a nice car, have a great hobby, go on holiday and do stuff on impulse while putting a few quid asside, without any loans or debts. But then again, I don't have a mortgage and can't see myself affording one without quiting socialising, driving, life, hobbies.... all but work.... and im not doing that.

G, when ours arrive in Oct' we'll have to swap nappy tips and how to change them faster!
We could even time them and see who's can poo the fastest!!

Regarding marshalling, when next year comes around, we can make them all brca members and combine yours with my two, stand them on each others' shoulders and put a big coat over them! No one would notice.

rc

Really there are three ways to save rc:

1.If we were to con a multi billionaire into doing rc then maybe he will donate to the BRCA and we will not have to pay any racing/membership fees and maybe even the annual rent of all the tracks could be paid, so we would have free racing!

2.Maybe we should claim that the BRCA is a charity to help wipe out some disease through rc racing... I am sure that there has to be somethinG, maybe make up a new disease!

3.Or we could go communist! We could pay more to the BRCA who in turn buy shit loads of lipos, tyres all in mass bulk and then distribute them to us!

( I am not mad just bored and depressed as I just realised it would be cheaper to buy an entire second hand car rather than buying all the individual parts to repair my car!)

I agree with Chris, definately Maggot;)

I suppose i am quite lucky, i have a decent job, my mortgage is huge but i have a decent home for it, i have a decent car, and i can afford to impulse buy most weeks:lol:

I do like my toys, but i dont have any loans etc apart from my 300k mortgage. And i get about 4 months off a year:thumbsup:

tjf 21-05-2008 06:34 PM

The thing is there are those of us who do it as a hobby and then theres those who think they can buy their way to the top. I personally race for the social side plus I think all men need a hobby of some kind.
