I gave in with the Lazer ZX and Triumph sorry :( they're already minters....unless bolting the wheels on and clipping wings on counts? ;)

DanB4 30-08-2012 11:19 AM

another one just finished to add to the collection

The Ultima is ready....group photo with the others will wait until the ZX and Triumph arrive :)

Let's play a little game :)

Spot why this isn't a proper Turbo Mid!

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=271047473022

I'll start....it's got a LWB shell cut down and incorrect wing......who's next?!

DanB4 30-08-2012 02:55 PM

Ok my turn again ;)

Non-countersunk chassis/screws dead giveaway!

terry.sc 30-08-2012 05:59 PM

Wrong rear wing, wrong turnbuckles, battery mounts have been hacked up to fit lipo, and as it's supposed to be a shelf queen I have wishbones in better condition on my runner Mid.

Naushad 30-08-2012 06:55 PM

Still...it looks nice and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes for a lot..from the pics I suspect not a too much has to be done to it. Having said that, it's not until you take it apart you would determine this for sure.

Better than some of the crap that comes on eBay...

j0pp3 30-08-2012 07:28 PM

Two things.

1. Not a proper shelfie.

2. Good base for a rebuild.

Part of my toy room....needs a good tidy and proper display for the Kyoshos.

I was thinking if he can get £300 with so long to go on the auction and the car is a bit of a state underneath then what's my mint one worth?! But I think you're right he must be getting his mates to bid it up. Will keep an eye on it anyway.

Very nice collection.

Well I'm just in a company house here in Oman which is big but our house in Scotland is small so I had half a cupboard there! What'll I do when I go back home?!

Naushad 31-08-2012 04:42 PM

I agree. I'm a bit suspicious....£300 is the most I've ever seen for a car which is not worth that...anyway I guess he would have done well if it went for that.

Let's hope he doesn't end up buying his own car!

Sold my original Avante for quite a bit on eBay yesterday :) going to use the funds to buy a LWB Mid when I eventually find a good donor ;)

Tried vintage Tamiya but I'm Kyosho through and through :wub

Joel,

Is there any difference between the original OT-93 and the repro bumpers from jose (sand super store) from Spain? You compared them a while ago right? Or are they perfect copy's from the original?

ref==> http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.ph...25189&start=15

Is he selling the repro OT-93 bumpers on ebay?
