Fair point John on making it lighter work as possible for Wednesday nights, end of the day its good practise and good fun but just a couple more peices or a roll of carpet I feel would make tyre wear very minimul and it a high standard track equiped to hold bigger meets.

When I picked the turf up from Teeside they had another role left but I had to leave it behind because I couldn't fit it in my car............................. gutted

Remember Remember

Just to remind everyone that racing is still on every Wednesday night. Would be great to get the numbers up again to the 30 mark like earlier in the year. Even more stuff to cover the tarmac now and so even less tire wear. Well worth a visit for some mid week racing. Go on....you know you want to!!!:p:p:p

It should now be possible to have astro all the way around including the straight.
We need the numbers back up again or it becomes a waste of time running a meeting!

this doesnt sound good :( , where you running slicks ?:eh?:

RSharpy 30-07-2008 09:43 PM

It's not the type of Astro to produce high levels of grip, think BB greens or maybe pinks will be the tyre.
