I also think that the DB1 shell shape is one of the best at the moment. Very very pleased with the work Mike has done for me. Will try and post some piccies of mine when I get the chance.

Thanks for the kind words, yeah really pleased with the car & Mike's work.
Really finishes the car off!
Have you got a a db1 too?

Briangb 27-06-2012 10:07 AM

Hi. Yes, I do have a DB1. In fact my 'garage' looks decidedly similar to your 'K'
collection, but with the addition of an MP9.
The DB1 has still to have its maiden flight. Now that I have the shells back from Mike, I am ready to go. Unfortunately, not likely to be till 8th July at the
earliest. Need to be ready for Stotfold Regional on 22nd July.
Cheers, Brian

Very nice Matt. If it goes as well as it looks you'll be onto a winner!

Must admit it is one of the best looking cars around at the moment.

Recent set ups ....

There are some fine looking cars out there and that's for sure!!
I feel that I should build myself a new car as I am still running one of the prototypes.....I sort of feel jealous very I see all those lovely painted new cars - LOL

On the set up side of things please follow the set up sheet sent out as some cars are certainly not on that.....that doesn't sound right - LOL
The set up sheet is a great base set up so bare that in mind is what I mean - especially ride heights etc etc Obviously everyone is going to try their own thing and we want to know about that but remember the set up sheet is a great base.....Kev, Dave and i are on that set up more or less everywhere......

If you haven't got it - please email me [email protected]

Laters all

Thursday's gonna be pushing it mate... but will see what I can do! If you're going to roll a DB1 you need quality paint to match:woot:

I'm not sure what sort of transmitter that chap is holding but its not him....well I think its not him anyways - LOL

Are you guys running the car with an undertray on dry astro?

I prefer not to run an undertray so would like to know.

Cheers!

The majority of drivers do not run an undertray unless the weather is bad enough and they have to.
Kev and i run our trays above the chassis and simply tape the motor hole if its too wet.....some pics attached of Kevs car that I did for him at the last National (he is more than capable in doing himself of course but I think he was feeling lazy - LOL)

Hope the pics help you

mikeyscott 18-07-2012 12:08 PM

Yup same as me :)

Kev appears to be missing two screws at the back...?

I got a 2nd undertray that I plan to use during winter.

JustARcFan 18-07-2012 12:13 PM

That was how I planned it to do.

Thanks

Looking forward receiving the kit.

RogerM 18-07-2012 10:46 PM

I'm typically running mine with no tray, if the track is wet the full tray gets fitted under the chassis.

Was originally running the tray under to keep the chassis tip tip in case I ever sold it .... silly mistake ... why would you ever want to sell a DB1?????

tomtom 19-07-2012 02:12 PM

Here is mine !
