Thanks James, I suspected the last two were tinted but wasn't sure. Now that I have NIP LAW-12, Ultimate Shocks, and the ZX-RR wing, along with a genuine shell and decal set I can build a ZX-RR with all NIP parts bar the upper deck.
Have enough bits bar the shell to build a MK1 as well.

Have another question, I see two different versions of ZXR boxart in Kyosho catalogs, some show the rear window painted black and others white. Which applies to which version?

I think box art is the one to copy, black back window also but unsure why the catalogue has a different image. Also just typed in lazer zxr on google and the zxs box art appeared also, red and white shell.

Mate your getting too addicted, branch out and get some other kits. Oh yeah my worlds rc10 will be in Racer sometime this year hopefully.

Much appreciated. Speaking of which, is there any way you would be able to get a genuine ZX-S wing painted the same color as the airbrushed shell? The holes on the associated one stretch the mounts a little plus I like the factory wing profile.

What shocks did the evo come with and did the works drivers use those?

Shocks are easy, some had gold shocks aka zxrr and some had the versions the zx5 three part shocks as they were developed on the zxrr snd zxs prototypes. Team drivers liked both, Ellis won the euros with the proto three part shocks and Masami got beaten by a kyosho driver using a zxs proto with 3 part shocks for the Japan nats title.

Ive no idea how to get hold of the guy that did Pavids shells back then so sorry no idea, but there is bound to be someone who is capable to do it in rc painting. I only ever put Tekin or Kyosho on a clear wing, or on a yokomo nylon pink or white wing.

What color were the proto three piece shocks?
So not all evo kits came with the same shocks?

I'm thinking blue shocks would match the rest of the anodised bits.

I think there is a local guy that might be able to do the wing, and the box art paint on the genuine shell once we confirm what that is for the evo.

What is the part number for the genuine wing for the evo, hoping I can find one

Ellis had a blackish colour, think ive posted his car pictures on here somewhere, my zxs had blue proto versions. Evo had these, and believe a few actually had the option house, the zxs evo did have a few sold to the Japanese market where the buyers could choose certain things. The ZXS first version car used either losi or option house shocks. Wing number may be on the manual on kyosho jp website which is LA123.

Forgot to let you know, zxs red and white shell design was used on both zxs and zxs evo. This has come from my friend Japan hq.

I know the ZX came with the alloy ot-16 but when it comes to the ZX-R MKI/II & RR which version did they come with, alloy or plastic?
