i'v posted my setup on here. let me know how your setups differ. |
Hello everybody.
Does-anyone know which chassis (502X or 511) Lee Martin and his team-mates used at the warm-up in Finland? Thank you for your help. :) |
Id put money on it being the 511, but dont think that de-values the 502 in any way as its still a very capable car.

I think I saw Rheinard run 502 a couple of days before the event, but not sure what he used on race day. I would guess 511, though. |

New 502X option parts. Blue alu steering bridge (#84230) Blue alu propeller shafts with Tamiya logos (#84231) Spur gear plates and slipper shaft cup (gold anodized) (#84232) You have probably seen some of the parts on Lees and Marcs cars here on Oople... Hereīs one pic: http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/e.../AI8R23181.jpg Late august release. |
I am loving it!! |
Saving my pennies for these now :-)
|
Who's car is that?
Note the brass block between the batteries.......another "weighted" TRF502X |
re
i think its LM's car.
|
The front shocks seem fairly level however the rears look like they would bind under compression, I'm sure I read something from Lee that you had to use spacers to bring the shocks forward a bit, that car looks standard!
|
He has a shock tower spacer at the front. Shock tower spacer is 2mm thick.
Not only that, he also has some nice battery straps...;) |
re
yup very nice battery straps for sure! good work Fredrick
