Slightly off topic but it could be wet again:thumbdown:

I have noticed that the slightest drop of water on the sensor wire of the brushless motors and they stop.

It there a knack of waterproofing brushless motors, (i have tried bluetack) or do people just go brushed when it gets damp:confused:

Lee 09-04-2008 12:37 PM

Who is camping?

Are there any bars or local pubs we can sample on the friday and sat night?

Northy 09-04-2008 12:39 PM

Lee,

Your more than welcome to follow myself, Stu, Damo, (and maybe even Jim) to the pub just a short walk away. Excellent carvery too

jimmy 09-04-2008 12:51 PM

Make sure Stu doesn't take his camera with him - he nearly got mugged last time by a gang of inbred chav nobbers.

dan_kitty 10-04-2008 05:00 PM

whats the camping facilities like? will it be secure enough to leave kit in the tents etc?

you got me worried about local chavs now, lol

ta

jimmy 10-04-2008 05:02 PM

Stu Evans bored them into submission tho and they left. Think it's generally pretty decent round there, I think people walking around the tents would soon get 'spotted' and tackled.

ooooh, you will have so much fun asking for direction!!! heehee

And you should be ok, they do mostly speak English (of sorts) up there, so you won't need to rehearse 'na dag, does dim siarad Gymraeg....' lol

rich_cree 11-04-2008 11:38 PM

enough of the welsh crap...

I reckon Neil for the 2wd and Lee to be super close behind him.

In 4wd it'll be Chris to win with Lee putting up the good fight behind......

I'd also put Tony Truman in both A finals, with a top 5 in 4wd, or else I'll have to kick his sorry ass again....

paulc 12-04-2008 08:59 AM

hi,

anyone know what model shops are going to kiddy next week

Lee 12-04-2008 09:02 AM

The race place will be there:thumbsup: and im sure Dom from DC will also be there as well as others but im not sure who:confused:

spenner 12-04-2008 09:03 AM

The Raceplace will be there friday night....
If there is anything you want that isn't an everyday part then give the shop a ring and they will bring up for you.

Spencer Mulcahy 15-04-2008 07:31 AM

Well I cancelled my entry last night for Kiddy as I cant go. But I have paved the way for last years national champ to get an entry in 4wd, so if you win the meeting Lee you can dedicate it to me:thumbsup:

Southwell 15-04-2008 07:45 AM

Who's ready then? I don't even know where half my gear is  Spose i should start prepping tonight....

Lee 15-04-2008 07:50 AM

Lee 15-04-2008 08:18 AM

Waterproofing seems to be popular  how do you boys go about it?

Is it just blu-tak over sensor leads and holes in speedo`s etc?

ben 15-04-2008 08:35 AM

I need to clean my cars
I need a transmitter seen as i smashed mine at the weekend like a retard
Waterproof my cars. Well actually i havent put any holes in my new shells yet so it will just be a case of putting blue tac on the motors and duck taping my S4 chassis.
